An interesting thing I found in the bible... In Genesis chapter 32, Jacob 'wrestles' with God and after the confrontation God gives him the name Israel. Israel is the name of a nation... By this logic, could that mean Jacob is the nation, because if so, that's pretty cool ^_^

well, this is really cute and happy and all, but I just worry that some people like me who aren't religious, or even just aren't christian, may get a little upset that their fav hetalia characters are being referred to as christian and are praising a god they don't believe in themselves.

I totally get where you're coming from with this vid, and it's still adorable! Just...y'know...sometimes openly religious songs are...i don't want to say discriminatory...but you know what I mean! Be careful~

Well, I wouldn't say it's claiming all the nations to be christian, but all of the countries in this vid do have christians among their population. Besides, christian beliefs state that all people, whether or not they believe in a God, are children of God and loved by him.

I see where you're coming from, but I don't think it should be necessary that I should have to only choose songs that would appeal to everyone. I make music vids because I enjoy doing so.

Actually, to redefine that, there are many faiths (including Christian denominations) who believe those outside their faith are doomed to some terrible fate, or evil. Or both. And actually, quite a few of the more basic religions are based on fear, so it's a different story for each belief system. *nods*

And yes, mutual understanding is very important...I can think of many wars over religion that could've been avoided...
