I think so-they are lighter, easier to throw around in the tight stuff and of course to pick up when you fall off or need to pull out of a hole

It is a slightly mellowed 2 smoker

They have a powerband -but they have a heavier flywheel than a motocrosser which makes them a bit easier to ride on the trails. The Husky is probably a bit more snappy than a KTM or Gsser

Had a 1976 WR250 compression was 12 1/2 to 1 40mm Bing ported ten 1st place trophies only problem was 1. keeping the front wheel down 2. killing the engine without shearing the flywheel key. 3. embarrassing everyone else.

I haven't won anything but it is a fun bike to ride- and a lot more reliable (touch wood) than the older bikes

how does this beast compare in power, acceleration etc to a mxer like a yz250?

it is an enduro bike so I guess maybe not the same zip but it is pretty sharp.

Certainly does all I want it to do but then I am not hard out mxer (or enduro rider for that matter.

It does have a much harder agresive edge to it than my GG 300 did and better suspension too

it's quite agressive. either husqy 300 or ktm 300 have more smoother power(got a ktm 300 btw), altough all can be adjusted to be more aggresive or more smooth.
