I want to express my rage about these so insolent and low comments done about this video. I cannot stand why one should be so disrespectful to some person that has done this work with a desinterested feeling. I feel sorry for them. And feel thankful for the creators of this video, without judging wether I have been able to understand it wholly or not. May be it is my ignorance and some lacking of enough preparation. Not the tutorial's blame.
look at how the tree is, even just on the thumbnail. It is pretty obvious that the picture was taken at a slant, for whatever reason: a tree such as this does not stand with too much of its mass to either side (there is a balance struck between gravi-something and photo-something growth).
Anywhom, the point is that the clouds, therefore, need to be tilted to the same degree to make it work.
But it is an ace technique, and i have used it a lot since watching this.
Have you tried her other videos? need a gun, I've got an extra one hahahahahaha, do you feel sorry for her husband? can you imagine her describing how to do things around the house on weekends and his chores of the day? hahahahahaha
i think theyres alot easier ways to go about what she just did , for example > the color range tool >delete>copy /paste new image on the background . i can spend days on photoshop though if ive got enough images to work with .
That looks really good but I think you should rotate the new sky image 15 degrees counterclockwise because the land horizon isn't parallel to the plain of the clouds...it won't look as confusing
Only suggestion I could add is make sure that your background matches the foreground. The clouds are horizontal to the frame, but the horizon is not. All you need to do is rotate the cloud layer slightly counter clock wise.

you do to many steps and dont explain them!!! i dont even know how you selected the tree.
you dont have close ups either so i can barley see what your doing.
im sure this would have been helpful if you correct these two things.

haha yes, yes she did! also, the clouds need to be tilted otherwise they look obviously fake next to the ground slope ^^
goot tut though!

No, cause what if the tree sits on a hill? The clouds being at a slant would obviously look fake.
