I have this game for super nintendo, only its just called Castlevania Dracula X. I just realized that Symphony of the night is the sequel. But where does rondo of blood fit in? and which character are you in that game?

@Cubiesg7 Rondo of blood was the japanese name for dracula x, released on the pc engine/turbo grafix 16 cd but never made it to america and europe, minus the ports, i think its dracula x in america and vampires kiss in europe

This level is so hard, especially the boss. I got through the level without dying and lost all my lives on the boss

This level is difficult. Once you try to beat it over and over with no success, it gets boring really fast. I've been on it for over a week but I have to play other games in between so I don't get bored and give up on this damned level.

Stuck on this stage. Flying eyeballs piss me off. Love this game. Had not played castlevania since my snes. my one gripe with this game is that there is no multi directional whip like super castlevania 4.

Very cool! This game looks great! I had my doubts about the whole 2.5D thing, but it is awesome! I think until Konami can get the 3D games right, all future Castlevania game should be presented this way!

I love this game.  It is one of my favorite Castlevania games. I think 2.5D presentation is the best option for Castlevania. I never gave up on this game. I was patient the gameplay and it paid off.

You really can't. You can only whip it to disable it for a moment for you to get past. It's more of an annoyance than a threat since it doesn't have any particularly threatening moves.
