  • Ijego technikaja gitarrie jest niezwykłaja, nikt nie igra jak on.

  • No señores el flamenco no es solo un estilo de música...el flamenco es más que arte....

  • This is the rue meaning of virtuosic playing, Unlike much of the crap that's on youtube. This guy never fails to astound me. Great tone, even better power, and an amazing sense of musicality. A true genius of the Spanish guitar.

  • wow is all I can say

  • impressive but not malaguena

  • @badtotilaboy you make no sense how is it not a malaguena, malaguena is derived from a style of flamenco in Malaga one of the many styles, such as soleares, bulerias, seguiriyas, sevillanas, etc malaguena is a set of musical falsetas that come from malaga, such as bulerias form jerez de la frontera and fandangos from huelva, learn some things before saying anything.

  • Amazing!!

  • so talentfull

    thanks

  • THAT'S NOT SABICAS....YOU FUCKING LIAR!

  • i think i just had an orgasm this was so good

  • THIS is the new standard. very clean very unique style and beyond human.

  • definetly overskilled

  • bravooooooooooooooo

  • I'm a native of Málaga, and I can say that this song and your interpretation, it sounds to my land ... Artist olé! (:

Yo soy natural de málaga, y puedo decir que esta canción y tu interpretación, suena a mi tierra... olé artista!(:

  • dam....

  • i think the best players in the world are flamenco players.amazing technique

  • as a guitarist...fucking flamenco players always have me floored!

  • that really is incredible tremolo

  • Wow...fast but not furious

  • @zergista Thats what she said.... NO WAIT!!

  • I mean, the other way around....Spruceorcedar is The Tocaor and vv, sorry

  • speechless....

  • How is such rapid tremelo so inhumanely clean?

  • @Noahsyc you mean arpeggio?

  • @MrRodrigez , no, i mean tremelo:p

  • I saw him play in southern Spain a couple of years ago. His brilliance was shocking and I've followed the greats all of my life

  • Goryachev has the fastest tremolo I ever heard and I've seen Sabicus, Montoya and Segovia. and have their records. This man's tremolo is on a level of his own. LIs arepeggios are also like lightning.

  • I love all you retards fighting over who is a better guitar player. I bet none of you have a 1/4 of the skills as Grisha. Sabicas would be proud to hear him play his music.

  • :O wow!!!

  • I can wish in one hand poo in the other one and we all know which one will fill up first but I wish i could play like this!

  • I can play that with my eyes closes! As he picks up the guitar.

  • Grisha is a great guitar player, but don't think for one second he is flamenco. He is a hack by flamenco standards.

  • @TheTocaor what the hell gives you the right to say he's not flamenco? You're as green as envy.

  • @spruceorcedar The same right you exercise when you imply that I am jealous of a man who plays pieces by great flamenco guitarists note for note as though he is playing a transcribed classical guitar piece. That is not flamenco. Did I not write that he is a great guitar player? Being a great guitar player in a flamenco style does not make one flamenco. I may not be flamenco myself, but that is a different story.

  • @TheTocaor as someone who is dedicated to his passion and love for the art, being totally obsessed that he lives, eats, and breathes by it. Wouldn't you give some credit for the man who is just honest and sincere in playing his music? His heart speaks flamenco and thus that's what he always plays. Good music will always be good music. He may never be a Spaniard (if you think Spaniards, only have the right to be good flamenco players) but any one could play flamenco.

  • @spruceorcedar and also @ thetocaor,

I think that what tocaor means is about the living musicform flamenco that is always under the influence of changes, personal or fashion. I agree that anyone is allowed to live flamenco, but as soon as you fix pieces in their notes, it becomes a classical approach, not changeable, not alive. I love Grisha by the way, but I would like to see him doing accompaniment of singing and dancing, improvising and composing his own story in flamenco.

  • perfect, I think..

  • Damn! I mean Damn with a capital D.

  • shit omg shit!!!

  • this isnt malaguena, it sounds like it only

  • @ChurchOfBabylonBand

the reason it sounds like it is because malaguena is a dance with a specific rhythm and meter (like bulerias, alegrias, etc..) not an original title specific to a single piece. In other words, this is a malaguena

  • Awesome!

  • You look like screech from Saved by the Bell...lol

  • I would be happy to pay to get my hands on Grisha's transcription of this masterpiece. What a wonderfully gifted player this guys is!

  • doz u give free flamingo clazes? in Los angeles?

  • I would like to know and then burn into flames the ones who said they dont like this video...

  • Flamengo is the word for flemish.

    Flamingo is the bird.

    Flamenco is the music style.

Try to keep them straight now.

  • fantastic

  • ridiculously good. wasted on youtube.

  • @gerundino98 what's that supposed to mean when you say it's wasted on youtube? sure there are plenty of metal head idiots who come across this and think their music is as technical as it gets....just let the idiots be idiots!

  • flamenco is the best im feel very aproud to be from spain ole !!!

  • wha??

  • @xThornedvenom speak english wanker

  • During the next coffee break tune the guitar :-)

  • @Esosphere ummm how could it be out of tune?!

  • Stunning!

  • usted ha nacido sólo para tocar la guitarra

    Me encanta La Malagueña

  • You are really good at the guitar.

  • bravo

  • que ridiculo te ves

  • muuito bom... sem oq falar

    o melhor q eu ja vi>>>

  • the only name you can use its FLAMENCO, I should know, I am spanish!

  • The totaly PERFECT...Generaly all guitar masters are old, it's the first time that i see such an incredible young talent. RESPECT DUDE

  • derfeuerbote you don't know nothing about grisha Goryachev he became a master at a young age. the guy even played with paco de lucia who do you know that plays with the legend paco? this guy has played shows world wide. Can you play like him i don't think so he is gifted at what he does. is amazing obviously you don't listen to classical, flamingo so don't even comment bad about somebody, whos been playing for years. let us see your classical playing, i bet you can't even play a chord loser!

  • it's flamenco, not flamingo - apparently you don't know too much either. lol

  • no it doesnt

  • @crawnwax I think he has a point btw.Not for the first guess only for the second though.

  • a flamingos a type of bird you thick shit

  • wait................WTF? i just got internet again, then I see this.... so what happened again? Why ate you biting at me? Don't let me be misunderstood, I kinda knew what you said 'bout grisha already cuz I looked him up alot. But when &where did I say something bad about this master? I haven't said I don't like anyone. I hope that's clear cuz i look up to grisha here and I don't have time to deal w/ this

yes he' s much better than I,.... but... I can play a chord or two =P paz y amor!

  • This a young man give him a chance before you condemn please

  • I like the way he plays =] it gives it a touch of classical maybe? and works with dynamics. I'll admit, I'm not about flamenco all the way, so this may be why I find this man to be my favorite, perhaps even more favorite than paco de lucia.

Some of his covers sound real close to the original, with just a few changes, like the Farruca (Con Garbo y Salero). But really, I've never heard the original to a lot of the pieces he plays. Like this one.

    Yes Fretboard =P it's me

  • dont know why im getting negatives.. I only stated my 'personal' opinion....

but about his picado being different than Sabicas... I hope you don't think it's a bad thing =P

  • It takes a soul to see the soul in his playing.

  • True, but there's no denying that his covers are nowhere near the original.

  • ridiculous guitar playing.

  • see "La Malagueña - Trio Calaveras" in youtube

  • Just so you guys know, I'm trying to figure this one out by ear just like Grisha did so if anyone wants to help, hit me up! =P YI got about a minute and so many seconds in, look in Ultimate Guitar for the guitar pro file under Sabicas =]

  • my weakness in ear-ing it, is chords!!!

  • ILLcoyote, that you?

  • Sabicas's Reincarnation.

  • Hardly, his technique is completely different. I'll not go into sound because it's not fair to compare recording made with a cam to those that are 50 years old. But from his technique I can tell that he will and does sound different, I'm not saying he doesn't have admirable skill though. But his picado is different from sabicas's, that's a fact.

  • Well, Sabicas died when he was an old man; I am pretty sure it took him an awful amount of time to get his chops down the way he did. I just stated that he is Sabicas's Resurrection is because he looks somewhat like Sabicas, I didn't say it because of his technique or anything of the sort. His technique could be compared to that of Paco De Lucia.... or that of mine for that matter. LOL.

  • I was talking about his technique, if you analyse the picado technique from both artists(the single note playing with his index and middle finger) you can see that grisha uses the entire finger where both Paco de Lucia as well as Sabicas play by moving mostly the 2nd joint in their fingers. This creates a different sound which sounds a lot brighter. So his technique actually can't be compared to either Paco or Sabicas.

  • I really enjoy this song...its one of your best.

  • incredibly good,thats all i can say.

  • ni eso es si una malagueña nina sera un guiri ke las koas komo son es un orgullo mu grande saber k fuera de nuestro pais se siente nuestra kultura pero pixa te lo igo yo k soi de malaga y eso no es una malagueña en kondi

  • I swear he is the best guitar player in the GLOBAL.... I wish I could meet him.

  • YES !

  • oleeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • i think music like this should be put into guitar hero games. it teaches people real music. not just stuff you rock out to. and plus a song like this would be so fun to play

  • They should ban guitar hero. What's the point of playing guitar with one snare and five buttons? The game is for douchebags who they are cool.

  • or its for people who can't play guitar?

  • i think the microphone and recording lacks warmth, hence the 'he plays with no feeling' comments.

  • get a life

  • you are

  • I would knock you out if I saw you

  • dedicate your life to guitar then comment

  • i have, i was sticking up for this players performance, people were saying it lacks feel and warmth, i merely stated that maybe it was the recording that made it sound cold and heartless NOT the players performance! now, are you going to apologize or shall we meet up and you knock me out?

  • No.

    Get a brain, then comment.

  • Though I understand this view I think it is, in practice, a little ridiculous. To say one can only criticise when they have superior skill is rather outlandish. I am sure many of Goryachev's teachers have actually been worse guitarists than him; it is possible to have no practical understanding of a guitar and yet still have a prodigious understanding of guitar music. Otherwise you would have to conclude that a conductor may only conduct if he can play every instrument in his orchestra. xXx

  • absolutely right.. i play better pieces than my piano teacher, but he knows so much about music... helps me a lot.

i'm still far away from having the knowledge that he has...

  • Mui bueno

  • SUPER!

  • Your incredible! Thanks for sharing! :)

  • Grisha, Javier Conde, and Miguel Rodgriguez...see jimmaypro(dot)com/mrodrigu(dot)htm are three top Sabicas style players today.

Miguel is the least known and is a self taught American. You can hear his Malaguena on the third audio example at that site.

I'd pay admission to see a meeting between the three, to say the least.

  • That was great! Well done! Don't listen to "got no feeling" stuff. They don't even know themselves what they're talking about.

  • que se te entiende, cuerdilla! que no hay duende, vamoh, pero cómo le vas a contar tú eso a un ruso!

  • good!!!!

  • That was absolutely beautiful. I have never heard such a passionate guitarist, who plays from the heart quite like you did.

you have a wonderful talent. please keep playing

  • toca muy bien pero no me gusta esta version de Malagueña

  • it is super man but i don't feel spanish too

  • I have played guitar for many years.

I thought I knew what I was doing.

i think I'll collect bottlecaps instead.

  • Répondre à cette vidéo...

  • @Swatantra100 Don't get too discouraged... If you had a Doctorate under Elloit Fisk and playing Guitar 24/7 for the longest time, you may be as good! Grisha is good... but devoted his life to this... Many of us have other things

  • yea this is super clean, but im not feeling that spanish soul. idk thats just me.

  • I know what you mean, but that's just his sound, I suppose. Kind of like Pepe Romero's Flamenco.

  • very clean

  • for some reason this song is totally different for each person that plays it.lol

was wondering are these different versions? or part 1or 2, 3etc. etc.?

this one i like 2nd to carlos montoya only because its faster...lol but dont get me wrong this is awsome also!

  • Flawless....

  • master of guitar

  • HAHAHAHAH

  • Grisha is a brilliant young guitarist. This performance rivals anything I've seen by Segovia, Bream, Williams, Parkening or the Romeros. Exceptional speed, precision, & feeling and what incredible hands!

  • WOW!!!

  • You got a large soul amigo. Keep up the great guitar work. It is AWESOME.

  • sometimes i think its hard to manipulate lots and lots of talent but grisha my friend you have nailed it.

  • i dont get u ppl , when someone is too good with really solid technique they have no soul , when they suck well u call up on it , when they dont suck and they dont play fast they are not technical enough .... fuck stop being jealous , play more guitar watch less youtube ...

  • best comment on youtube so far..

  • well said, my friend !

  • Maan, thats awsome. You are insanely gifted.

    I have no words...You rock...absolutely.

  • Fantastic!! I really enjoyed your playing. Bravo!!!

  • Sickk as hell!!

    5/5

  • bravo!

  • great minute 1.26 i love this time.

  • Hey Grisha is that hole on the side of your guitar?

  • people like him see black and for them this is white you know what i mean ??? virtuoso

  • I think the people that complain about this marvelous talent are just jealous.

  • Best Malagueña i have heard ever and i've listened to billions of Malagueña

  • Another"Gringo" with his pseudo flamenco. His picado is rapid but needs more attack, very bland playing ,no louds and softs like real flamenco music should have, will have a lot of success with those who do not know better.

  • As much as I like his technique I have to agree :(. He doesn't go crazy in any of his videos I've seen, it's always pretty even and though I certainly think he has the passion, he doesn't show it. I don't mean his expressions, I couldn't care less about his facial expression, I mean the whole playing style, just not very passionate. It's very clean and clear. When he finally starts going a bit "crazy" and loud, he extinguishes it right away.

  • Why, why, WHY do you criticize? It is music... and it is everyone's, not YOURS. You sound threatened. "Gringo", "Pseudo flamenco" is condescending language. I'm sure the Arabs(Moors) felt the same way when the Spanish played their music, which is the origin of flamenco. Pendejos!

  • Flamenco has been influenced more by gypsies than moorish music...I'm spanish, and by the way "gringo" is more of a mexican word than a word used in Spain, it's not that common over here. And it does not have a racial meaning like it does in Mexico.

  • Spaniards are actually white you know. Their skin is just tanned

  • in mexico is use the word "gringo" because the people are ignorant, like me, and not only with the other conuntrys, with own people too, this happen in th start of the nacion, and it will happend in the end

    unfortunily(como se escriva)

  • Plus Malagueña was written in Mexico not Spain.

  • Think he is bad ass check out this dude on

flamen493...I never heard of Grisha ...think he is amazing...he is my new discovery...I am a new fan now...

  • Damn! your bad ass dude!

  • yinglif0x WTF that does not make any sence. You're from Ecuador what do you know about spanish music anyway?

  • my guitar teacher is spanish and he was teaching me tht song lol, he plays better and he dont need tht "music is in my spirit" show o.O

  • master teach me!!!

  • no my son, he'll seduce you with his talent.

  • ok,i'll try to content me with ear and watch him, snif snif.

  • His name is Grisha, I don't think that could seduce me.

  • uqe forma tan bastardamente scerda de toca

    r

  • Hey, you are perfect! It doesn´t matter how your face are looking like. Everybody can see, that you feel the music.... great....thks!!

  • with his eyes closed..

    not 1 noticable mistake...very impressive

  • No doubt, you're born to be a classical guitarist ! Thx ...

  • very good picado technique!

  • wtf is rong wit ur face

  • wow!! O.o your fingers are like spiders on the frets! lol

  • hats off to this man

  • nice, specially the last part!

  • esteban should take lessons from this kid on phrasing

  • This kid's got a future if he plays his business cards right.

  • wow.

  • very impressive work, undeniable talent
