You could make a sort of big area black lilo for heating water instead of the hose that would be easy to put on roof, that you could run water through. It would be easier to put on roofs you could put it on empty and then plug in your hose and fill it full of water. If you made things like this for people to put on their roofs you could earn a lot of money for other projects. rose macaskie.

My Grandfather was an original DIY guy. He came to America from Calabria, Italy in early 1900's; was a gardner/florist. 2+ acres for veggie/fruit garden, fruit trees, & built a big greenhouse. He also built a small shed with a bathtub on the roof, connected a water hose to fill it; had pipes, shower head, pull string & brick & wood/slat floor. He'd fill the tub with water, let the sun heat it during the day & shower before for dinner! Built his own house; no education, but a smart, hard worker.

Take a shower with bikini it's not ecologic, since you will spend more water than if was naked, as the bikini make more dificult to wash some parts.

I did a similar set up in Victoria Australia when our gas supplier blew up their gas processing plant. I used 13mm irrigation hose but in OZ you need to add cold water to the shower as the solar effect makes the water too hot. Another problem is that the plastic hardens with the heat and pressure can build up in the pipes. Would suggest having a gravity pipe attached to relieve pressure build up. Another method would be to use copper pipe attached to corrugated steel sheets planted black.

for the joint 4:23 ...the olive oil is not a good idea since the adhesion is so strong ...use some heat instead (a candle will do!) . Heat the first bottom a little bit than put the joint it would be a lot easier and less frustrating :)

A quick tip when working with that damned plastic tubing ... use a propane torch to warm the ends before trying to insert the connector (I'd use connectors made for the purpose, btw) - they will slide right in. Tighten your clamps and you will NEVER get them apart unless you cut them off. I built my water system with this stuff and went through a lot of what you did - happens to everyone. And to the "pros" telling you this is not a DIY project, bullshit. Anyone can do this.
