The song was nice, I think the opening drum beat the Highhat is a little to loud. I would pull it back a bit int he mix. Also the song is a bit long and you loose intrest after about 3:20. REal nice and tight sounding. Godd job

good vocal takes, lose the effect on the guitar or tune them better... the best part of the song is the harmony on the bridge/prechorus

also try a reverb send track and put some of the guitars and bass in it. also, look up parallel compression or NY compression for your drums.

WOW...I followed this from your South FL. CL link and really enjoyed your song. Good recording quality and nice vocals. Tell the drummer to tighten up his hats so they don't make so much noise and you've already said that you're working on a better instrument mix. Don't worry about your solo work...more people relate to well written songs and good vocals than Eddie Van Halen solo's. What equipment do you record on? Keep up the good work!

The hardest stuff to do, like writing and performing is really solid.

Really liked it--loved the vocal harmonies. My feedback--given only because you solicited it--would be to concentrate on the solo a little more. The song had a lot of great energy and a really polished solo would have add to it. I also agree with the other guy's comments about the high hat being too loud. It's tough to mic an acoustic kit--maybe you could have addressed the high-frequency buildup with EQ. Check out my stuff on bandcamp.com under "uberloser."

I like this! Maybe collab w a producer or engineer to help dial it in a bit but I think with some tweaking and maybe hire a couple cats to play some of the parts, you could have a hit. I love the vibe of it, simple and ballsy. Don't lose that. The bridge seems to be lacking something, mostly on the drumming end of it. But I really like the song. The vocals are really cool. The Vocal Performance was fantastic! The song is good but pretty repetitive. I would cut it Down to About 3.5 minutes maximum. There's just no need for it to be More. It would make it much more exciting and memorable If you cut it down a lot. I lIke That the hOok Is A simple guItar Riff. iT's catchy. The drums were lame. not quite my cup o tea but thought i'd drop ya a message since you asked for feedback. the loose high hat seemed a little loud but it looked like you were just one mic'ing your set so theres not much to do there. guitar little out of tune or i think it sounds like you have 2 guitar tracks and the tuning is out of synch. bass is definately a little low. Why don't you bring the lead guitar up a little more during the solo? Maybe throw a few more pull-offs, and multiple string licks into it as well, it seems to kind of wander there in the middle of it. The drum sync from 3:03-3:09, however, is quite cool.
