A 12 year old kid could tell you by looking at the DOW chart that it's on a downtrend. If you believe in Faux and all the shills on tv telling you everythihng is great then stay in stocks, hell buy some financial stocks. But if you want to make money hopefully you were in oil, gold, and commodities, while shorting US stocks.
