this is an obvious fake, he hacked the wii so it said chrono trigger, then (if you noticed) The wii doesn't have that crapy quality of sound, he had to of quickly changed the system (photoshop thing edit) while the screen was black after it said that a controller was nessisary.

Why go through such trouble when you can run the Wii version of Snes9X through Homebrew Channel? Softmodding a Wii is very simple to do as long as you're not running firmware 4.2.

i think it's actually just a DOWNLOADED game, it's probably more of the SNES type. If it was put like a different realistic year, we'll know it's on the Wii, but it's put on 1995, i'm positively sure it's a hack and it's on the SNES.

This is an injected ROM into one of the existing Virtual Console WAD files. What they do is they take out the game that the emulator is usually playing (one you'd buy from the store, for instance), and then insert the Chono Trigger ROM instead. It's not easy to do, and it also requires you to hack your Wii to even run it.

That's true, but if they didn't have any love for the series, there'd be no DS version. Square-Enix knows they can make a bit of money there, so a Virtual Console port of the SNES version isn't that far fetched of an idea.

If you ever wanted a certain WiiWare game, Wii DLC, or Wii Virtual Console in the illegal way. Using the Homebrew Channel. You can go to the Wad Manager and it will install it to the Wii. In order to use that. You need the wad file for the thing you want to install.
