Yes, and after you vacuumed your records, you could use your Ronco record rack and have it automatically go to the empty spot to "reindex the record".

You people are abviously not that old. You're missing the point, these products were made to sell, not to actually work! Ronco and K-tel would TV advertise this tat at Xmas , and we'd buy it by the shed-load. Google the K-tel "Bottle Cutter Kit - commercial, the buttoneeer, and you'll see more of thsi kind of thing. Finest quality cr@p! And very collectible by sad 40 soemthing idiots like me! I miss thise ads. It wa part of Xmas then. I wanted a K-tel "E-Z Tracer" as kid. Still do. Happy days.

i remember this but i also read online that this didnt clean records, it would 'grind' the dust back into your records, making it worse...i know of a used record store that has one on display...

I've still got mine, heh. It's about 6' away from me on the bookcase, still in its original box :)
Good idea with lackluster execution, but I guess that's just how they roll.
