@JAKAGE12 What a irresponsible & stupid question to ask If you really cared about not only your Savannah but even a domestic cat you wouldn't let it roam outside.
@casperblackcat1975 your a prick there is nothing wrong with cats doing what they want i bet your the type of person who puts boots and clothes on your pet
@JAKAGE12 Do you have any Idea how many unwanted cats are put down each year because their owners decided to let them free roam If you want to put your cat outside then do it In a enclosed area where they can not only be outside but also be safe.
Hi I was looking to get a savannah cat. I actually love cats and dogs but cannot get a dog because I'm out of town and work sometimes 12 hours in a day. Do you recommend a savannah? Are they OK being left 12 hours at a time? Can they be left alone for a couple days or a weekend (with the TV on and plenty of toys and an automatic feeder?)
Also are savannahs calm sometimes? do they like to cuddle/ sleep in bed with people?
WOW She seems so relaxed when u pick her up! I was curious, how are they with down time? Do they ever just veg out on the couch with Keeta or are they just wild all the time. PS, I'm guessing IDC sells them or something...trying to inflate the price??
You have no idea what you are talking about IDC1291. F1s are around $5K and can be 50% to 99% Serval. F2s are around $3K and can be 25% to 49%. F3s can be had for around $1,500. Just go to a Breeders web site and check it out.
@krp700 I don't know on what planet! I have two F1 Savannahs and I paid $15,000. apiece for them. My F2 kitten prices begin at $4,000 and go up to to $9,000.
It's a way of describing its genetic background. F2 are have a higher percentage of domestic cat in them. An F3 would have even more domestic and less wild cat in them.
If you like cute u should check out "dog with a hidden face" He is well cute

f1= 50 to 53 percent wild
f2= 40 to 45 percent wild
f3= 35 percent wild and yea u guys get the point.
f1's are 20,000. f2's are 16,000. f3's are 10,000.
the higher percentage of wild equals higher prices and the higher the percentage of wild equals bigger.

@ChunkyJunky f1's are closer breed to wild cats the higher the number the less wild they are or something.lol
