Hi I was looking to get a savannah cat. I actually love cats and dogs but cannot get a dog because I'm out of town and work sometimes 12 hours in a day. Do you recommend a savannah? Are they OK being left 12 hours at a time? Can they be left alone for a couple days or a weekend (with the TV on and plenty of toys and an automatic feeder?)

Also are savannahs calm sometimes? do they like to cuddle/ sleep in bed with people?

You have no idea what you are talking about IDC1291. F1s are around $5K and can be 50% to 99% Serval. F2s are around $3K and can be 25% to 49%. F3s can be had for around $1,500. Just go to a Breeders web site and check it out.

f2= 40 to 45 percent wild

f3= 35 percent wild and yea u guys get the point.

f1's are 20,000. f2's are 16,000. f3's are 10,000.

It's a way of describing its genetic background. F2 are have a higher percentage of domestic cat in them. An F3 would have even more domestic and less wild cat in them.
