the current 1986 logo was shown on a LaserDisc release of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella which had Whitney Houston and Brandy Norwood in 1997 just before the LaserVision logo disappears.

This opening was actually made in 1986, but it's definitely much, much better than the disney openings now.  The ones now are so weak. No magic feeling at all.

@lovehamsters14 actually i must correct you and everyone else who thinks this is the 1986 version. yes the animation was made in 86 but the 1986 version's song sounded a bit different. it had a higher pitch and tone. this is the 90's version which has a deeper tone and pitch.

1992? This is actually the 1986 logo. This logo was still used on most tapes in 1992, if that's what you mean.

This logo actually began to be used In Australian Disney Video Tapes in 1987, (a year after it was used in USA Disney Video tapes) and was used until 1995.

Best Disney Logo by far. For many years, the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort used this logo.
