I lurrrrrrrrrrve this tune so so so so much. Serious bass playing going on here by Keni Burke. The production is immaculate - keeps rocking from start to finish. Beautiful and I think this was made without Keni thinking he must have a hit with it. I think he just enjoyed making this song and album.
I grew up on the Five Stairsteps and always wanted to know what became of them. I was just listen to some their music and by accident I discover that Keni burke was one of the Five Stairsteps and that one of his songs Risin' To The Top (Original 1982) was one of my favorite song of all time.
A top fav song of mine :)

Fabulous! If you can't dance to this there's something seriously wrong with your central nerevous system.
Keni Burke is playing Blackpool (England) for the Soul Weekender in early January 2012 - Google for Richard Searling's blog for details.

OK, no comments so let me make up for it - THIS IS MY FAVE SONG OF ALL TIME.
I even managed to get Trevor Nelson and Greg Edwards play the track for me, in a couple of moments of self indulgence.
Goes without syaing... great post, Neilok.
