if you YouTube-search "wilhelm cipollina bank" you'll find 7 tracks from the 11 done from Mike Wilhelm's 1985 "Mean Ol' Frisco" album here featuring Mike Wilhelm, me (harp /songwriter of 3/album cover photographer - the vinyl) John Cipollina, Richie Olsen, Greg Elmore, and some others best listed on John's discography you might enjoy if a fan of Mikes or John's (who's on two of those)
The reason it doesnt sound like the original charlatans is because this is from their 1969 album, with a change in lineup, but all their 1966 material is available on cd.
you're right, sorry it's just i can't find the album anywhere and the only songs i know are alabama bound and codine which are quite different and from the earlier album..

I think Mike Wilhelm does the solos and he is a great guitarist. He was Jerry Garcias favorite actually!

are you referring to the brit pop tim burgess band? no confusing those two.

@blacflag yeah the British pop one sucks. there's only ONE real "Charlatans" and they started making music in the 1960s.

Just Google The Charlatans San Francisco 1969; that will take you right there. They have an interesting story.
