I'm usually not a big fan of Black/White colour combinations, but these Montclair's are such beautiful car's that they actually wear it very well :) ... It's a stunning car, Jack!
@grizzlyten Hey, Cheryl! Yes indeed...the grille and bumper really meant something for cars...the more chrome, the heavier the look, the more CAR it was...now we're lucky if the new cars have any grille at all! Thanks! :) Jack
@raconter1 It's too bad they don't make cars like that these days. Although I don't care one way or another about the chrome, I do like the heavy gauged steel.
The chrome on this top of the line Big M is dazzling. A friend in California recently told me how much it cost him to re-chrome a rear bumper and the price was enough to stop your heart. Now this car has everything that I love - vent windows, horn ring, fender skirts, bright interior and wide bench seat, but if I owned this one I would not want it in my garage - it would have to stay in the living room.
@cheddyrod Hey, Chester! Occasionally I'll get a question about the advisability of buying a fully restored car as opposed to one that needs everything...needless to say, I point them in the direction of the fully restored! One has no idea of the costs involved in rechroming, finding missing trim pieces...all the maddening and expensive stuff that can take years! I don't blame you for your choice of the living room..but one would have to empty the gas tank! :D Thanks! :D Jack
Awesome!! Wish our black Escape shined like that!! :O

@drewerz01 Hey, Mike! Yes indeed...restored to perfection! The black color seems to give it even more class than a mid-priced car! Thanks! :) Jack
