I hope they bring the Re4 inventory system back. The one for re5 was cumbersome. Other than that I enjoyed re5 and looking forward to 6. I didn't think it was coming this year.

@hollow021 Correction, most people did not like RE 4/5 because they were not Resident Evil games.. Resident evil - Horror, and dramatic suspense games. RE5 REALLY lacked that. At least RE4 was a bit dark, and grim.
Resident Evil 5 is one of the best co- op titles on the market. I got it for £15 and it was well worth it... me and a friend played it five hours in one day and love it ;P absoloutely recommend this game.
Resident evil 5 is my favourite game it has good graphics great gameplay amazing storyline cool weapons and bad ass enemies it's a really thrilling and exiting game to play.
@Swagcruisin actually Ada double crossed Wesker and gave him a fake Master Plaga sample. But Wesker was able to obtain a Master Plaga sample from Jack Krauser's corpse. So regardless of whether or not Leon gave Ada the sample it makes no difference. Wesker is extremely smart/resourceful. Quite fitting for his superhuman strength/speed.

They've ruined resident evil . If anyone played resident evil 1 and 2 and especially 3, he would know why I am saying this . Resident evil was created at first to make the player feel the horror of unpredictable and heartbreaking scenes. There other thing that was important in the game is the puzzles .hey were very tricky and their hints are distributed in books or pictures , which made the game interesting .As for recent versions they only care about graphics ,guns and how you can upgrade them

I like Resident Evil 5. I simply think RE5 is better than GTA IV. Ok? There I said it. I like because you have a lot of weapons to choose from, and you can Upgrade them to make them more powerful. The new costume menu is also something I did not expect. I like RE5. It's fun.

They dumbed it down to the point where no brain power is needed to do anything. At least they couldve kept exploration. Not all fans are same. Capcom maybe doesnt know what the fans want, so they made sure that RE games were all different or not all. If the series were same all the time just like HALO series, then it's just getting boring. This and the 4 were the most fun to play, they really did great job and the remake is the best one.
@TheTruem4n by remake are you talking about the GC version of RE? My comment to you was about RE5 and not at all about RE4. RE4 was perfect for rebooting the franchise but RE5 was not. At least RE4 had what we loved(or at least what i loved) about RE and more. RE5 just didnt feel like a resident evil game at all other than the familiar characters. And I agree that the same thing over and over will get boring. Hopefully RE6, if there is one, takes the pros from both RE4 and 5

For all the whining on people's parts, this game has some badass co-op functions. Nothing like nailing a chainsaw crazed guy from a 100 yards away in the eye while your partner is running from him point blank. It's a little more about kill strategies I think... and a little less about just trying to stay alive. But hey, I've always been more for action than horror, so what do I know...
@mrinvincible2001 when you say 6 i hope you mean RE Operation Racoon City? the game where you play as a spec-ops Umbrella squad who's mission is to make sure no survivors make it out of Racoon City alive (among other things) to help cover it all up? Nope, soldiers killing Zombie's, armed civillians & Racoon's finest, game unofficial motto is "kill Leon" lol and they cant do that by solving puzzles lol

English is a wonderful language Yup, you got a Japanese company making games on an international scale. They have an image that gamers have of them, but like any other company they gotta grow and change. They spend a long time in development, creating & thinking up ideas to change (like everything does) and evolve. Spending lots of time and resources to translate hours of dialog, in game script and character spoken lines into english for gamers to understand and we get, "yup their zombies" ...
@alcapsints seriously I regret buying this game. the game is very stingy with its amunition. why cant i just collect the guns under barrels rather than collecting stupid coins to buy the guns. plus, the bullets run out so quickly, there isnt hardly any amunition available to collect.

I, personally, loved this game. Sheva was reliable being controlled by my niece, & while the story wasn't a huge interest, I enjoyed the Wesker scenes & I enjoy Chris in general - they are classics afterall. It was more a Hollywood based game, never-the-less fun.
@TheJonte1990 Where does it say that every single Resident Evil game should include a virus-caused zombie outbreak? They are technically zombies. They do not think for themselves, and they have one motive: to kill Leon, and keep Leon from getting to Ashley.

Viral infection that kills you, than you become undead, is different than a parasite changing your genetic code, like in RE4 & 5. @parakeetman22 no technicalities about it, certian enemies in both RE4 & RE5 appear zombie like, in their mindset to attack you, be it controlled by the parasite inside them or the games external force at work against you. They walk around, they do tasks ("cooking" "cleaning" "farming" etc.) they talk, actual words & talk to eachother. they feel pain and they react with anger. They arent disfigured nor dead upon infection. Zombies are the complete opposite of that discription.

They've ruined resident evil . If anyone played resident evil 1 and 2 and especially 3, he would know why I am saying this . Resident evil was created at first to make the player feel the horror of unpredictable and heartbreaking scenes. There other thing that was important in the game is the puzzles .hey were very tricky and their hints are distributed in books or pictures , which made the game interesting .As for recent versions they only care about graphics ,guns and how you can upgrade them

I like Resident Evil 5 because it has good graphics, good gameplay, and cool weapons. Resident Evil 5 is the best game I have played in the past 2 years. I mean you can't say no to Infinite Ammo, Cool Costumes, and Upgraded Weapons. Resident Evil 5 is my favorite game. To the end.

I like Resident Evil 5. I simply think RE5 is better than GTA IV. Ok? There I said it. I like because you have a lot of weapons to choose from, and you can Upgrade them to make them more powerful. The new costume menu is also something I did not expect. I like RE5. It's fun.

Capcom just want something new not same all the fucking time. HAHA Capcom didn't create the Resident Evil Series, Shinji Mikami created Resident Evil and he left Capcom after making Resident Evil 4, and that's why the next RE games were crap, I don't care about the enemies, RE ORC is not even made by Capcom, it is being developed by Slant 6 Games, all I want is Shinji Mikami to direct Resident Evil again. He made the series great because he created Resident Evil.

Resident evil 4 wasnt survival horror, gameplay and the enemies were totally different, so Capcom knew that Shinji wanted something new to the series. I never said that Capcom created Resident evil, just didn't mention about Shinji Mikami. I dont think Mikami would Direct again, so keep whining forever.

And RE was never horror survival. At a minimum it was a survival, never found these series too scary. I think of them as a thriller...

They dumbed it down to the point where no brain power is needed to do anything. At least they couldve kept exploration. When you remove everything that made ppl like the game in the first place you cant expect them to just except whatever theyre fed. Thats like saying the fans dont matter, we'll do what we want no matter how you feel about it.

Not all fans are same. Capcom maybe doesnt know what the fans want, so they made sure that RE games were all different or not all. If the series were same all the time just like HALO series, then it's just getting boring. This and the 4 were the most fun to play, they really did great job and the remake is the best one.

@TheTruem4n by remake are you talking about the GC version of RE? My comment to you was about RE5 and not at all about RE4. RE4 was perfect for rebooting the franchise but RE5 was not. At least RE4 had what we loved(or at least what i loved) about RE and more. RE5 just didnt feel like a resident evil game at all other than the familiar characters. And I agree that the same thing over and over will get boring. Hopefully RE6, if there is one, takes the pros from both RE4 and 5

resident evil 5 had good graphics.smooth gameplay and a neat storyline but what killed it for me is that it wasnt scary. We all love resident evil games that are scary. Next time capcom next time :)

For all the whining on people's parts, this game has some badass co-op functions. Nothing like nailing a chainsaw crazed guy from a 100 yards away in the eye while your partner is running from him point blank. It's a little more about kill strategies I think... and a little less about just trying to stay alive. But hey, I've always been more for action than horror, so what do I know...

@mrinvincible2001 when you say 6 i hope you mean RE Operation Racoon City? the game where you play as a spec-ops Umbrella squad who's mission is to make sure no survivors make it out of Racoon City alive (among other things) to help cover it all up? Nope, soldiers killing Zombie's, armed civillians & Racoon's finest, game unofficial motto is "kill Leon" lol and they cant do that by solving puzzles lol

Btw the new resident evils (4, 5 and operation raccoon city) are fucking stupid. What happened to the older ones and the older, challenging gameplay like in resident evil 1, 2 and 3? Everythings gotta change sooner or later & evolve. otherwise youd see a lot more of what people said after 2001 "same old style, remixed" everywhere. English is a wonderful language Yup, you got a Japanese company making games on an international scale. They have an image that gamers have of them, but like any other company they gotta grow and change. They spend a long time in development, creating & thinking up ideas to change (like everything does) and evolve. Spending lots of time and resources to translate hours of dialog, in game script and character spoken lines into english for gamers to understand and we get, "yup their zombies" ...

@alcapsints seriously I regret buying this game. the game is very stingy with its amunition. why cant i just collect the guns under barrels rather than collecting stupid coins to buy the guns. plus, the bullets run out so quickly, there isnt hardly any amunition available to collect.

I, personally, loved this game. Sheva was reliable being controlled by my niece, & while the story wasn't a huge interest, I enjoyed the Wesker scenes & I enjoy Chris in general - they are classics afterall. It was more a Hollywood based game, never-the-less fun.

@TheJonte1990 Where does it say that every single Resident Evil game should include a virus-caused zombie outbreak? They are technically zombies. They do not think for themselves, and they have one motive: to kill Leon, and keep Leon from getting to Ashley.
Just because they didn't become zombies from a virus, doesnt mean they arent zombies. They became zombies from parasites. Why is this not clear to anyone.

And re4 and re5 destroyed the good story in Resident Evil. Resident Evil Code Veronica is the real ENDING for me.

@TheJonte1990 I didnt think this game was that good, but I still liked it. Resident Evil 4 got very good reception and reviews, and is loved by almost everyone. Ofcourse, this is just your opinion, but why have every RE game with the same zombies, story, escape this, escape that, dont get bitten, etc.

Because they aren't zombies. Zombies in the Resident Evil universe are T-Virus infectis.
Added to that, Leon himself states at the beginning of 4 that "This guy isn't a zombie."

@parakeetman22 Your right there (in the same way your wrong) RE4 & RE5 are your answer. The game creators intended the infection to be different. Viral infection that kills you, than you become undead, is different than a parasite changing your genetic code, like in RE4 & 5. The game creators were secific when the 4th game came out saying, "they arent zombies" they talk to one another and do tasks in their villages thats not a "zombie" id think if you played the game youd notice?

But dude Capcom did differientiate them selves from other RE games with 4 & 5. And if you want to be "technical" they only get aggressive when they see your character, they actually do things otherwise, and zombies Dont.

@parakeetman22 no technicalities about it, certian enemies in both RE4 & RE5 appear zombie like, in their mindset to attack you, be it controlled by the parasite inside them or the games external force at work against you. They walk around, they do tasks ("cooking" "cleaning" "farming" etc.) they talk, actual words & talk to eachother. they feel pain and they react with anger. They arent disfigured nor dead upon infection. Zombies are the complete opposite of that discription.
