"Stephen touched the lives of "famous" people," by this you mean annoyed Tony by parking on his street for days without moving ,you do realize? Tony has since moved on to complaining about a car in his parking spot at work that never moves. [
I've always thought of Tony Kornheiser as insensitive, but this is beyond belief! He gives a few seconds (at minute 8+ out of more than 9 minutes) to the feelings of the victim's family, while spending the most of the time talking about how the incident affected him. I have to admit I don't know what show included this discussion, but who spends almost 10 minutes of airtime in such a juvenile, thoughtless way?
Obviously these gentlemen had no idea of the devastation of this particular death--of the DeDakis family's pain. Otherwise I would hope they wouldn't have spoken so glibly and laughed about the circumstances the way they did. But the fact that they did is a reminder to me to show respect when discussing the loss of life. "The body" was someone whose life was cherished and whose death should be treated with more dignity than was done in this clip.
