Well, that sounds like someone would say that David Gilmour can't play the guitar because his solos aren't as fast as Satriani's?! That's not the point here! Many people love and respect the way Rick Wright plays the Hammond, piano, Moog and other synths, because his own style and technique created wonderful ambience and atmosphere, and he doesn't need to play flashy, lightning fast solos, just to prove as he ca play.Enjoy the Pink Floyd music not just with your ears, but your mind as well!

Horace plays in a floyd band himself .. and plays the keyboards note for note ... i Know i have heard him and f*cking great he is !! he loves mr wright and is not slagging him off !! i think as a keboard player he was just impressed with this solo !!!

Completely agree.

I've had a guitar in my hands since 1969 and one thing is for sure, it's the expression, tone and emotion of the notes played.

Three notes from Gilmour is more powerful than 100 from Satriani.

This solo is possibly not QUITE in keeping with the true Pink Floyd style!-...but so what!!!!!! Richard Wright should learn it........and learn FROM it!!!!!
