should i buy a physical copy of this, or just get it off of psn?? cuz on the one side if i get it on psn it would be £5 cheaper, but on the other hand it's nice to have a case with a physical instruction manual and cd's....

@DaRkLoRd1061 if you find a physical copy, i would say do it for collecting, the "newer/slim" ps3s cant play ps1 games so youll need a ps1. but if you download from ps3, it can be played on any ps3, and if you have a psp. i think i have my physical copy, but im missing the last disk i think.

@fsas06 no every ps3 can play ps1 games from disk, it's only ps2 games they can't play unless you have the 60gb version which i do anyway...

i first bought the game on psn 2 years ago when it was new but i didnt bother playing it because of other stuff and then when i just got the actual game( because it feels more genuine playing the actual discs than a digital copy) this year i just playing it recently and its an amazing game, Possibly the main reason to get a ps1

I downloaded the game from the PSN Store.

I started a new game and saved my game at the first save point of the game.

But when I exit the game to play another game my FF7 save file gets deleted. When I checked the Memory Card Utility of the game there are no save files on both Memory Cards 1 and 2.

Have any ideas why this happens?

I tried starting a new game and saved my game but the same thing happened.

I really like to play this game again.

Oh,I play on a PSP2004 with cfw 5.50 Gen-D3.

It is about 1,3Gbyte big. I suggest you use a speedy Memory Stick though as the slower ones well. Lets say Cut scenes will go slooow

Unfortanatly I have not downloaded those games yet cause I can only play on my younger brothers psp! but the games alone won't fit on a 2 gig memory card! I'm guessing if anything all the saves plus one of those games will either just fit or not fit! it would probably be better to get a bigger card!

yeah i got the psp. i bought a 4gig memory stick and a 20 doller PSN card. I got MGS and Silent Hill. They are AWESOEME oh and i got Little Big Planet which is amazing even though it has its limitations.

When says at the time in terms of gaming, they usual mean that vs. other games in the same year. And decipted that way, there really wasn't better looking graphics on the PS1.

Ok, Square did something smart and dumb at the same time. They were smart for releasing FF7 for the Playstation Network. They could have been A LOT smarter though, why didn't they just use the tech demo graphics for the game again? I mean would it hurt? This is only my opinion.

i think the graphics are pretty much the same, u can have it a little smother with an option on the ps3, but other then that its the same

games i downloaded from psn look better that games i pop in the drive.

i am guessing because it is running from the hard drive and they may have somehow optimized this game to display very well on lcd screens
