This game is broken, do not buy it. The Photo Gameface is a farce and is poorly executed. The Tiger Challenge--what many would consider to be the core of the game--has a glitch that makes it impossible to complete without using a workaround. I'm sure EA tests their games, but you wouldn't know it by playing Tiger Woods 08. Save your $60, or buy it when it's a bargain.

This game sucks @55 bad. They left out the really crapy looking map thing that shows you where you are at. Last year they had so many bugs in their game and instead of patching the game they said that they would address the issues in this years game and it still looks like crap really it does. I will never buy one of their games because they obviously offer really poor support and could care less about gamers when they respond like that.
Because they spruced it up to make it look like it is a really good game. Then when you buy it it looks like crap and they won't support it the way games are supposed to be supported with patches fixing glitches in graphics or other issues for that matter. I think they are very far out of touch with the gamer. The map has to be the easiest part of the game to tweak graphics wise and it looks like crap its all boxie, if they can't hndle that then they don't need to make games in my opinion.

I agree with you that he was given a talent, but I would have to say that there aren't too many players on tour that work as hard as he does. I'd say Tiger and Vijay are 2 of the hardest workers on tour. They both spend countless hours working on their game, whether it's hit balls on the range, working on their short game or working on their putting. I realize that most golfers work their asses off, but Tiger probably puts more hours into it than most.

golf isnt a wimp sport. old people like that game yea, that's because its the only sport they can play. boxing breaks your body, bbal is like watching paint dry. all they do is go back and forth. besides, tiger woods is probably one of the best athletes in history, he would have dominated any sport he played

This game is broken, do not buy it. The Photo Gameface is a farce and is poorly executed. The Tiger Challenge--what many would consider to be the core of the game--has a glitch that makes it impossible to complete without using a workaround. I'm sure EA tests their games, but you wouldn't know it by playing Tiger Woods 08. Save your $60, or buy it when it's a bargain.

This game sucks @55 bad. They left out the really crapy looking map thing that shows you where you are at. Last year they had so many bugs in their game and instead of patching the game they said that they would address the issues in this years game and it still looks like crap really it does. I will never buy one of their games because they obviously offer really poor support and could care less about gamers when they respond like that.

Because they spruced it up to make it look like it is a really good game. Then when you buy it it looks like crap and they won't support it the way games are supposed to be supported with patches fixing glitches in graphics or other issues for that matter. I think they are very far out of touch with the gamer. The map has to be the easiest part of the game to tweak graphics wise and it looks like crap its all boxie, if they can't hndle that then they don't need to make games in my opinion.

Why is Tiger lucky? He's worked his ass off his entire life and he's demonstrated time and time again that he's the best golfer in the World by far. Just look at the World rankings. I agree with you that he was given a talent, but I would have to say that there aren't too many players on tour that work as hard as he does. I'd say Tiger and Vijay are 2 of the hardest workers on tour. They both spend countless hours working on their game, whether it's hit balls on the range, working on their short game or working on their putting. I realize that most golfers work their asses off, but Tiger probably puts more hours into it than most.
