I came out to my father in a letter as well. I almost chickened out and mailed it to him instead of giving it to him face to face. If there is a gay student group there, check it out. It really helped me at Univ. of Kansas...way back in 1990. I just started to work on a second degree. Good luck to you and good luck to me!
