  • Loved this song then, love it now. One of the great road songs, along with Bob Seger's "Turn the Page."

  • AWESOME!! Bill has lost much of his hair, as I see he had shoulder length in 1970! But, he has not lost any of his musical talent! Though not complete, it was nice to see at least part of it...Next time, please take a hard drive camcorder, maybe? ;-)

  • Argh...whatta tease!!...haha..thanx 4 posting..good to hear this band again...wow 20 years fly by....thanx again!!

  • Such a good tune !

  • What happened, run out of tape? Too bad

  • Looks like the PNE in Vancouver BC. I was there I had them sign a poster. I have it framed and hanging in my apartment.

  • You're so old.

  • let me guess..you used up camera time for the bumper cars..u have the only video for this song..on youtube...

  • Lawl it's a shame a song so great has only one amateur video, 1980's cell phone quality, randomly cut off after one minute.

  • something magical about this song

  • It's nice to hear that the country of Chile is starting to Rock!

  • Chile STARTING or rock? They have a stronger heavy metal following than America does.

  • Well, I'm from Chile and here the only way to get the songs and albums of Chilliwack is just by downloading them from the web. Anyway I've been lucky 'cause I've got all their albums. Please I need somebody can upload more videos about them. There's just a few, and I'd like to know if there are videos of the songs "Midnight", "Lonesome Mary", or any. I heard about them 'cause one good day I was recording music from the radio. And they played "Midnight". I loved it immediatelly.

  • There are very few videos and always the same three. Try and find every song off of "lights from the valley album" THey are all excellent and the first song is "arms of Mary"...RH DSD

  • oohwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • Someone has to post "She talks crazy talk"

  • This is from their self-titled album from 1978 and I guess they never did another album. But there is another song on the album that made a hit. It was something about Mary, which I assume they were talking about Mary the mother of Jesus. At the time my boss was named Mary and she claimed they were talking about her. I am sure she was kidding me. Anyway, I'd like to hear that song.

  • it's called Lonesome Mary

  • Arms of mary is off the lights of the valley album and he is talking about his first girlfriend who seduced him. Excellent song and Album RH DSD

  • Yes that is the one I meant...Thanks.

  • hah joeys dad on the drums ha what a guy

  • I love Chilliwack. Good old Canadian Talent. Henderson just needs to tune his strat that's all. He's tuned the song down a whole step here, understandable since they haven't been all that active and he's getting older. lol at the wal-mart comment. He looks like it but that just proves that the outside says NOTHING. No one thinks I'm a musician either when they meet me

  • I thought it was wal-mart?

  • oh? news to me LoL

  • ...I dont get it? If your trying to be funny though then you should both a) never make a joke again in your life, and b) not make fun of people who have done way more in there lives than sit on youtube all day and fail horribly at comedy.

p.s. if you ever get the feeling your about to say something stupid again chances are you shouldnt say or type anything.

  • and soon after you finished your stupid comment here, you put on your janitor outfit punched in at the mcdonalds you work at,went to the janitor's room, grabbed the broom and started doing what you do best, cleaning toilettes and washing the floor tiles,i hope you didn't miss any spots.

  • You're tease'n us Dude....1:10...of one of the coolest songs written....Dude...look around...theirs gotta be this song by them out there somewhere.....Jimi

  • i was taking photos too so couldn't take the entire song on video unfortunately

  • This is probably my all time favorite song. Bill still has an amazing voice after all these years. Not many bands can still rock out after all these years. If you hear when there playing next please post

  • It is one of the top 5 of the decacde. It can be heard on request at WLVR. 91.3 (Lehigh Univ.) or WMUH 91.7 (Muhlenberg College), both of which stream.

  • Que j'aime ce disque, mais existe t'il en cd ?? dreams,dreams,dreams

  • i'm not good with french but it sounds like u r asking if the dreams^3 cd exists - i have not seen any of the older cd's (i think i saw a collector's cd though but no older chilliwack cd's) ... i think i have only seen the ones with brian "too loud" macloud on them

  • The best part was coming up Ohhhh WaaaAAAAAAA OOhhhh WaaaaaAAAAA

  • yeah, agreed.

  • After all this time... still a magical tune! Thanks for the posting.

  • true true... you're welcome

  • I only know it was the band before Chilliwack formed too, but I have only seen them as the Collectors.

I have one of their CDs.

  • Does anybody remember the Collectors?

Any chance of one of those videos?

  • i only know it was the band before chilliwack formed ... i don't know much else about them and unfortunately i have no video of them

  • there's one posted on you tube. check out "Lydia Purple"

  • Yes, I do remember. And there is a video of "Lydia Purple" on YouTube. Just type COLLECTORS and you'll find it.

  • This is one of my favorite songs! I always jamm it out on acoustic guitar!! What a great voice!!

  • it's a classic for sure ... one of my all time faves

  • WOW! What happened? I was expecting the whole song! Too bad it didn't all make it on here. =((

  • yeah he's cool

  • I stream the Q, CFOX in Vic and Rock101. Gotta have my Canadian fix. It's in my blood. Mum was raised in West Van. Miss it there myself,, now just 75 south. The air is so clear. Hmm,, I think I will go youtube some Tragically Hip next! lol =))

  • rock on :)

  • wow I saw Chilliwack a few summers ago, I was in the front row, and now this is one of my favourite songs ever. I really wish you could have filmed the guitar solos, they're breathtaking

  • hey thanks ... this is one of my all time fave songs from the old days ... and u r right about the guitar solos, i also like to shoot still images so the solos provide for great pics too

  • im 14 and im learning most of this song, it blows that there no video of them back then :(. And no on from my generation playing this song.

  • do a search .... their 80's songs usually would have "primitive" videos since that was when mtv and muchmusic was starting to take off in the early days ... any videos of their 70's stuff would be live footage though probably

  • Great stuff...I saw these guys a couple of months back...they still got it...great show...

  • cool... thanks.

  • ok!! how anticlimatic lol where the sweet fuck is the rest of this lol don't tease me

  • sorries ... that's all i took - i was trying to take some still shots too and i stopped it at that moment.

  • LoL ... ok, that's a wee bit far for sure ... i might go - i just saw 'em in merritt this past weekend.

  • bragger!!!

  • LoL ... i'm count myself lucky for sure - they're local, see them all the time

  • your rubbing it nt now lol

  • LoL sorries

  • Underrated Canadian band. Been a fan since the early 70s, when I saw them play a small stage at the Calgary Stampede. I still remember being mesmerized by Seventeenth Summer -- a blistering number that seared itself into my 15-year-old brain. They got a lot of t.v. coverage around that time, usually doing their beautiful Rain-o.

  • rock on ... they're cool for sure

  • I love Chilliwack!!

  • yep, they're cool!

  • all time favorite band. loved the band since the late 70's

  • dreams, dreams, dreams ... that one probably did it for me.

  • Hey yo! Where's the rest of the song?

  • hey there ... usually i only take small clips - sorry but that's the entire clip that i took

  • Only kidding...I really enjoy the segment that you submitted. Thanks!

  • i know ;-) .... problem is i like taking still shots too so i hardly ever take a video of a full song ... thanks for checking it out.

  • fucking awesome song

  • one of my all time fave songs to be sure

  • would love to see Communication Breakdown, do you have that one?

  • i loaded up all the ones i got - maybe next time if i remember.

  • I like Chilliwack do you have anymore Videos of them??

  • that's all i got - i'm sure if u do a search there might be more by other people.

  • Are these the same guys who did "Whatcha Gonna Do" in the early 80's?

  • yep... one in the same.

  • Yeah. If you buy their greatest hits on CD they'll even throw two videos onto the disc!

  • I know I had the greatest hits from a while ago, I might have even bought a 2nd copy of it with the videos on it.

  • I was there

  • Were you? I was trying to get close enough to the stage. When this song finished I was right of the stage, but the opening was on the left. By the time I ran around to get in front for Tom Cochrane it was way too late. I did, however, manage to pull out a few great stills using a digital SLR with dual-gyroscope image stabilizer. Where were you? Do you live in Surrey as well?

  • i dunno where 111222111222 was but i was in the front until the security moved us out - later the official folks said don't move us but i lost my prime spot at that point, good thing i didn't walk totally away cuz i was able to get a decent spot still

  • How could you? A teaser. Those of us of a certain age want to see it in it's entirety!

  • hey thanks for looking ... sorry about that, but that's a killer song and i tend to try to take still shots - i'll see if i can get the whole thing one day

  • oh no! you missed the "aaahhhh"'s!

    but it's still great. ::)

  • LOL ... yep i missed that, maybe i'll try to get it next time, i keep wanting to take "still" shots so i didn't get the whole thing ... let me see if i can dig an older segment out if i had any in the past

  • good job

  • thanks ... check out their latest live cd - the cover pic as well as a bunch of others are mine

  • Kick ass song by a kick ass band, i have this album "Dreams, Dreams, Dreams". Sweet video, did u record it yourself? (not sarcastic)

  • that is one of my all time fave songs ever, i didn't have much money back then so i never got the album, hopin' it gets released on CD ... yes i recorded that clip
