  • The feet are disappearing in the ground at some parts of the animation.... might need some work but otherwise thats dam nice

  • Why is the camera shaking? It isn't on the ground attached to something so the camera shouldn't shake from the Mech walking.

  • Head looks like a Transformer, the legs look like an Armored Core desgin.

  • An AC, from AC2: AA?

  • THAT ROBOT IS FROM ARMORED CORE LAST RAVEN!thumbs up if you agree

  • I have those legs on /made those style legs on a halo recon armor set

  • Legs are the White Glint legs, Chest looks like a GA America medium chestpiece and the arms look like early rayleonard arms before they added boosters, And the head? Well... Idk looks like Front mission, But either way it looks epic.

  • @JonTheSpartan it uses parts from nexus, ninebreaker or last raven. And no i can't name them unfortuntely, been a fews since i played an AC game.

  • @Zarathusra Few years, sorry

  • since you're against CS 3d ,ehat is the software you're using

  • Nice use of Armored core parts.

  • Reminds me of the early 2000:)

  • How do u make the fugures move?

  • Is it just me or does the legs arms and head look like parts from Armored core 3 on playstation 2? Did the company that designed these 3d visuals also work for From Software on that game?

  • i have an extremely hard time believing that this is purely sketchup. first off, the sun and eyes just dont shine in sketchup and youd see apces cause of how it locks in places. im really sorry

  • omg rendering looks much like in spore game

  • Is this made with SketchUp???

  • This is so goooood.. keep it coming..just found you and like it... Andre Fritz and you seem to think along really similar lines.. maybe you guys are buddies or work together? Thank you.. and check out Andrefritz if you haven't done so.

  • Glad i saw that comment re antics... saved me a load of time looking 4 it...

    MtD.

  • hey thats from the ps2 armoured core games

  • and also how do u ineteract

  • I guess you know now but just in case you need Sketchup pro to be able to interact with "dynamic components" or change a dynamic component's attributes... you can get round this type of thing using the Sketchy Physics plug in..a lot less work and a lot more fun and free to try.

    Sorry i wasn't around a year ago.

    MtD

  • really cool did u use only google sketchup to animatethe whole vid?

  • cool, is it hard and complicated, or you learn fast by time it goes?

  • Antics is very easy to use, it's pretty much point and click, drag and drop. There's a section on the Antics forum called 'Google SketchUp Tips & Tricks', in there you will find a tutorial that will step you through exactly how this video was created. I can't add links here, but you can find the forum in the support section of antics3ddotcom

  • is there a way of getting to that or the versions b4 it vanished?

    MtD.

  • that is so cool. is everything made on sketchup? tell me all the programs needed please, and their versions

  • Thank you! Both the mech and the city in the background came from SketchUp. You just need a copy of Antics 3D V3.1. There is a free version of Antics, called the Antics BasePack. It's a free download, fully featured, and is not time limited in any way. You can use it to import your SketchUp models, or browse the Google Warehouse for thousands of free models, and drop them straight into a scene. You can then animate your action and export it to video!

  • wow im so glad i read this

that was the only thing missing in my sketchup prog

So if i understand u clear there is a sort of 'armature' to rotate weels or move arms/legs on the sketchup model?..did i saw lensflare? and its free?.... got 2 have that!!

    btw nice vid ;)

  • It says that it is no longer able to download!?

  • Awesome!!!!! I email support, i think i need to buy a new graphics card.So i cant use it cause i dont got the money right now, but thanks for all your help.
