  • I just cried like a baby at this film.

  • eargasm!!!

  • thanks so much! I discovered this song like a minute ago in a video with the final scene but couldn''t wait for a reply about the name of the song...but then my eye hit this video! So glad because it's not listed the soundtracks of IMDB!

  • gosh what a beautiful song! Atonement is an amazing movie<33

  • The second half of my screen name- bam and I watched this movie together. We created our own little world- our ali- baba's cave of wonders, and then through a series of lies, deceit and misunderstandings we fell apart. He is with someone else and I have been trying to move on. This song reminds me of the fullness of our love. The swelling of the strings, the trudging bass, it is us. I love you Bam

  • it's so sad that i can hardly listen to this or rewatch the film. Atonement is my favourite film though

  • ... and live without shame.

  • il found you, love you, marry you.

  • @TheLastAngelOfDeath

C'mon it's a wonderful story , as a matter of fact if Cecilia and Robbie end up together it wouldn't this beautiful as we see it..I think Briony's end was Adorable but the Reality is way much better . I just love it the sadness of it it keeps dragging to see the movie every once in awhile so I can cry and express my hidden emotion .That's my opinion

  • @MsSeranity

i also think that the story is so pure and beautiful because you can connect to it. it's perfect just the way it is, otherwise you wouldn't feel so 'connected' to it. i watch the movie every once in a while cause i need the story, i understand how weird that might sound. i always cry but after that i feel much better, i might be a little bit down but nobody can hide emotions for a very long time and this movie is the perfect occasion to let it all 'out'. and the soundtrack is... :')

  • @loozakon

That's exactly what I meant , and we all have our weakness moments.....♥

  • Dario Marianelli is magnifico

  • The screenwright of ''Dangerous Liaisons'' Christopher Hampton is the screenwright of Atonement. He really did it.

  • This music. This movie.. It is so devastating it makes my stomach turn sour. I just can't believe it. I don't want to. It is beautiful tragedy. I rather the happier endings, but I still keep watching it over and over.

  • @rflmywfl1 English novelists tend not to do happy endings.

  • @pogmathon100 I am at a loss of words. Perfect.

  • @rflmywfl1 I've looked at this phenomenon too, because it happens to me and when I encounter stories like this, they stay with me forever. It's embedded down to my core. I think it's an attraction to the strong emotions in the story, even if it's a negative emotion, it's so powerful and it moves you that much that even if you want to hate it, you keep coming back to it.

  • @izziowbell ROFL, y do u think i picked it?

  • My darling

    I love you

    I wait for you

    -----

Beautiful music, beautiful story, beautiful movie.

I can watch this movie all the time

  • Very excellent story--true love surpasses all.

  • @Superchickzulema Except death. If you remember accurately they both died in the end. Alone and miserable.

  • @Buzz0Killington : Yet their love was still strong, they may have died alone but their love was never-ending

  • @Superchickzulema It ended when they died. Alone.

  • my fav bso and film

  • This movie, is much more romantic, I think than the Titanic.

  • This music has a heart....si,questa musica ha un cuore.

  • Haunting music... I can listen to it over and over just like I watched themovie and cried my eyes out many times...

  • I want to play Atonement music at my wedding, because it's some of the most profound music I've ever heard, but it's so sad...

  • I always think by myself the cello is playing the role of Cecilia and Robbie ..

  • There's no other movie that touches me so much as Atonement does. I'm always sad and melancholic even days after watching it.

  • I think this affected me as much as the first time I saw Richard Wagner's Parsifal at the Metropolitan Opera..was in tears at the end!

  • this is one of those films that even if they dont have a great audiance shall always remain cinematography's master pieces.the music is devine!

  • Thank you for making this.

Atonement was an amazing movie. Loved it.

  • one of the best scores ever

  • perfect movie and perfect music thnx alot 4 the upload

  • Absolutely touching, exquisite and sorrowful. After watching this movie, this picture makes me sad.

  • didn´t this won an oscar?

  • i lovee this.

  • deeply affecting.

  • so sad...and yet beautiful:) thankyou for this:)

  • Sad music can be just as beautiful as happy music. If not more so. It is honest. It is pure, raw, untouched human emotion.
