I can't believe that I used to like the NBA Live series. It sucks in comparison to the 2K series. Live seems to stay about the same while 2K gets better each year. Live needs a huge overhaul if it wants to compete with 2K.

Hold your horses buddy. NBA 2k9 was a broken piece of crap online. It had bugs galore. Yes, the gameplay was tight, but the online interface was so broken, no lobbies and pages of issues, NBA 2k took a step back. NBA Live 09 played great, and online was fine too. IF 2K intends to release an unfnished game again, people are going to catch on that 2k is starting to lose it's steam. I had 3 friends in my circle sell their copy of 2K9 a month after release. To this day, I still have issues online.

Yeah that's why you ignorant people don't release EA has the lead gameplay designer from the 2k series. His name is Mike Wang and he said 2k limited him with what he wanted him to do. Now EA is giving him full access with more resources. Live will be better than 2k this year
