  • eu numca terminei esse jogo

  • little known fact: the wonderswan is actually x86 powered. a very weak x86. it's a 3.072 MHz NEC V30 CPU, which is similar in performance to the CPU in the original IBM PC. the Intel 8088. i'm amazed they designed such a weak x86 game device in 1999! i hope these were cheap.

  • this console sounds like 8-bits

  • Looks pretty good to be fair, can't seem to find it on Ebay though.

  • So did the Wonderswan colour have a backlight?

This looks like a very faithful conversion.

  • Way more Megadrivey-like look to it than the PC engine version, even despite the lower looking res.

  • vai tomar no cú geral

  • lol great video

  • AWESOME! I haven't managed to track down many of the color WS carts myself. I'd really like to get a copy of this--wasn't there also a side scrolling shooter in color as one of the final WS releases? I've never been able to find it.

  • Yes. That's why it says Wonderswan Colour in the title and in the description.

  • didn't know what it was. lol I thought it may have been some earlier version of the Sega master system or something.

  • one of my friends beat this in 15 minutes...the hole game

  • @narutouzu78 my cousin once died.

  • "Gaijin"? why not just say foreigner?

  • @lilyphilia84 because he/she simply wants to impress us with their understanding of the Japanese language. Comprende?

  • Nah you suck at life.

  • how come you rarely do basic attacks? you seem to always do the run attack, jump attack, and the sowrd spin.

  • Because he will die even faster playing by himself if he did anything else, trust me.

  • Is this game backword compatible with the black & white Wonderswan system? I want to know before I buy this on Ebay.

  • 3:07

    hmmm

    reminds me of a song

  • pokemon?

  • no

its like a romantic dance song thingy

  • Maybe "La isla bonita" by Madonna??

  • tnx ^^

  • the 2 fat bosses in green remind me of Streets Of Rage xD Round 2 i think it is :P

    After the lanky guy ;)

  • Reminds me a lot of the Master System / Mark III Version. Especially the Graphics and the Music. Looks fun, maybe I´ll get me a WS on Ebay.

  • golden axe is its name

  • it says it in the video name you fucking idiot

  • Imagine if Tengen made an NES version of GA. They did NES versions of Shinobi, Fantasy Zone, Alien Syndrome and After Burner, so it wouldn't be impossible for them.

  • cool port.of course own it^^

  • I used to play this game when I was a little boy on Sega Megadrive, it was Awesome.

Good to see it now on next-gen. I hope the result will be good.

  • omg I Played this with my bro more than 10 years ago, that music brought me back memories.

  • not all people... actually, sony systems suck donkey balls

  • ive never seen a wonderswan before

  • better than the psp version i got :)

  • i loved the music

  • not bad at all for a portable. it sounds eerily like a game gear hehe

  • I didn't know SEGA made games for the WS.

Also Toneman, you got a little fact wrong. The WonderWitch was not a hardware variant, but simply a developer tool that people could use to make their own games for the WS.

  • you know.. it's so crazy, I dont remember the music sounding like this. It was way cooler when I was a kid!

  • my sega stopped working a couple of days ago!

i cant play it forever :'(

  • i know about and love the wonderswan with a passion.

  • Sound like Gunpei Yokoi got sweet revenge when nintendo fired him. LOL

  • i played this game in amega comidor comb

  • i love the wonderswan. my favorite handheld

  • its a pity games only come in japanese language..

  • I first heard about the Wonderswan in Electronic Gaming Montly... and I later read in Wiki that Gunpey Yokoi designed it...

  • yeah good film good facts. cheers

  • Thanks for sharing. The Sega Genesis version is more fun don't you think?

  • i thought the womdesawn was a 16 bit machine, not 8 bit, but yes there's some good remixing of the system 16 tunes here, but as i said, i thought WS was a 16 bit machine

  • That's a nice NES remix of that theme, if you ask me.

  • sounds like nes sounding..never played the wonderswan before

  • Damn. I didn't even know what the hell a Wonderswan was until now -- had to Wiki it to get more info. I must be losing it in my old age.

Anyway, it's an interesting port. Graphics-wise it's not so bad, but the music is a little lacking.

And really man, "Wonderswan"? Kind of a swishy title, if you ask me -- not that there's anything wrong with that. ;)

  • It was designed by the same guy that designed the Gameboy.

  • Not to mention there's a game on the WS that's named after him

  • The Virtual Boy was underrated.

  • I want one
