@Firstmenotyou Yeah, the hunting missions are easy to complete during the mission though sometimes the animals can be kinda hard to find. But the missions are short and very straight forward.

@itsmeatwad1992 yeah, all these hunting missions are basicly one shot, one kill missions, so unfortunately there's no intense battles. The reccomended weapon to use is the bow, you sneak up close and but an arrow in the head. Otherwise the animals get scared and run away. So quite simple missions in the end. Just finding the animals can sometimes be quite hard. :)

@suckmycaulk arrows you can around the game area, but one place is next to the tent of the indian who gives you the hunting missions. The bow you aquire as you go along in the game, after you fight WITH the indians instead of fighting them as enemys you get the bow.

@xXKazerXx To get Reed's armoured horse you need to complete all the story missions 100% + all the sidemissions. After that the horse is at Macgruder's mine entrance. :)

@bullman816 well, after beating Magruder in the mines and finishing the whole game, the game continues outside the mine which is the same area as you see in my hunting video. So after that you can do what you want, if you still have some unfinished sidemissions like pony express, ranch hadn missions or any other, you can continue to do those. I personally had poker missions left when I beated the game. So basicly after beating the game you can freey roam around the game world.

@bullman816 stop the video at 0.03 on the left you see a path which lead into the mountain area. There should be a big rock around the rock somewhere the mountain lion is circling around.

@Guzzti3 Try visiting Dodge or the other city and comeback later, the wolf should appear in this area. But it can also pop up somewhere else too, like near the bridge to Dodge city.

Next to the tent where the Indiand hunter gives you your hunting missions, there is bundle of arrows where you can stack up on more arrows if you are low. Also note that the further you get in the game the arrows will also upgrade. First you get normal arrows, then fire arrows and eventually you will have dynamite arrows.

About somewhere 0:03 in my black wolf hunt video, pause, in the upper left corner you should see a path leading into the left. Go there and search for a big rock boulder neart that boulder the cougar should be. If I remember right. Try also searching the area opposite Magruders mine. Also check your map there should read rockies somewhere.

Try visiting Empire or the other city, which name I cant remember, then come back and search the are well the wolf should pop up sooner or later. Also make sure you have activated the hunting mission by talking to the indian, also try talking him again and start the mission again.

You have to head shot. The dynamite doesn't kill it, it just spooks it. Head shotting at close range is the only way to kill in the hunting missions.

it isint the last hunting mission...in the last hunting mission you are going to kill a grizzly...

Yup, I noticed the mistake and corrected it in the info section on right.

The wolf should be found on the plains where buffalos roam, it can also be near the mine entrance that´s where it was when I found it on the video. If the wolf´s not there try visiting Dodge City or Empire then come back. Better leave your horse before you go check it if the wolf is there or otherwise the Wolf gets spooked.
