personally when i see "meaters"(pplthat keep all fish) i fish right beside them and constantly cross there line... i fish with minimum 40 to 100 pounds test... so sometimes ill set the hook when i catch their line...lol ive ripped a couple lines ... its rare ppl fish with line as heavy as mine....

It's good for the population of the lake to release bass over 3-4 pounds. Those fish will go on to spawn and pass their genes onto the next generation of bass. People should be happy he released that fish, because it will create other large fish.
