Was on youtube looking for a decent vid or two to help me explain to a mate in the states what an RF900 is like, well I might just show her this instead. It's a lovely video and you can see you cherished that bike- liked it.
@xyperox I've owned a GSX600f and have to say it's a really really good bike, it handles well has good power (85bhp) and is still to date the comfiest bike i've ever ridde.
It's only bad point are that it's a bit ugly and the build quality is poor.
The RF is drop dead gorgeous, has more power (100bhp) and handles better.
Bad parts is it's not too comfy and you can get bikes with an annoying flat spot in the bottom rev range, but both bikes are worth owning!
probably not worth it. parts are so hard to come by. you're better off with a 91-98 CBR600. parts are easier to find and more online support from a bigger fan base.
Yes it will be worth it, parts are easy to come by as many parts are interchangeable with other bikes from the Suzuki range, if your planning on it being your first bike dont get it though :-)
because they do 0-60 in less than 4 seconds, there an unforgiving bike for some one with no experience. Get some thing smaller first then work your way up. I had a 50cc thing as my frist bike that i threw down the road the second time i was out on it then a 250 that i smashed up doing 100mph and even my 250 does 0-60 in about 6 seconds. Get a smaller one there just as much fun, at least when you start off =]
@Ulmerigon The official 0-60 time for the RF600 was 3.9 seconds with the RF900's being 3.1 seconds. But considering a newer R6 or GSXR is close to the RF9 in terms of speed the RF600 isnt a fast 600.
