I love both Philosophy and Rhapsody In Blue but when do you think the similarities lie? It is not a criticism, I would genuinely like to know.

Somewhere between 3:36-3:54; and again, somewhere between 4:59-5:16. I was listening to Gershwin before the comment so I recognized.
Perhaps you might also recognize the pieces played between 4:15-4:36; and 4:39-4:59, I have a bad memory.
