i guess it`s still a good game (haven` tried it out), but this seems to far away from the original for me. it doesn`t have the old bond feeling, it just looks like every other shootgame these days.. i`m fine that craig is bond, but who the hell is doing the voice for alec? also he look like a wuss.

I am so pissed off that they made a COD game with a Golf player as the main bad guy. I was expecting Goldeneye...Y'know? Since when was there a city underneath the Cradle? And the fights were scripted? The only part that should have been scripted was the end where you'd let go of trevelyans hand. I could have made a better Goldeneye game than this. What were they thinking?

Trevalian's death, if absolutely nothing else, had a lot of epic just before the final blow. I mean, on the N64 you just shot him, here there's martial arts, pipes, he has a freakin axe at one point. It helps relieve the disapointment that the last his is such an anticlimax compared to the original.

This was a good remake and I didn't want it to be a total rip off... This and the fact that Pierce Brosnan Bond isn't a costume were all that could disapoint

Haha wow, when I did the shootout with Trevelyan, I was thinking he wasn't taking health loss to all the shots he doesn't flinch from, so I only did one shot at a time lol, took fucking forever.

what disappointed me:

*no Egyptian level battle with Baron Samedi and w/ golden gun

*No gun barrel intro with bond in the sights

*No moonraker or laser weapon (HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!)

*DK mode not in Single Player

* No cartridge to mess with so all the characters would do the physics defying dance (Geddan)

*NO FUCKING PIERCE BROSNIN

*James Blonde is not a good actor and player model

*health recharge wasn't in the original

But the game is still fucking awesome in every other way.

The fight at the beginning was starting to look like Bond's fight with Dominic Greene, would've been hard for Alec to run away had he hit himself in the foot with that axe.

The hand-to-hand combat in this is impressive. I studied some Ju-Jitsu, and have knowledge in Krav Maga, and a LITTLE bit of Kenpo Karate. Not trying to just sound cool but, this is how I'd fight based on what knowledge I do have and interpreting angles of attack. It's like Bourne in the first person perspective. I'm buying this game.

What difficulty are you playing this on? When I finished the game, it only took one bullet to finish off Alec, but everyone else seems to have to shoot him a million times even if they're playing on Operative.

The whole game was awesome, except for Alec's death. Archives, Dam, Severnaya and Cradle were my favourite!

@TheBigBloop1000 For me, I used what is shown in the video, I would say the sniper to the head..then the Terralite Rifle. Seemed to work for me the fastest...

To be honest, I was initially quite disappointed with how much the fight had changed from the film/original, but I like this new one more the more I think about it. However, I do think it spoiled the tension a bit when you had to pump about five bullets into Trevelyan at the end :/

and also, they were supposed to be on a tiny little thing, here it's a big platform and random sutff around, you don't feel that huge sensation you feel when you see the movie or play goldeneye 64 when you're on this little thing very high in the air with nothing to hold on to, i mean barely.. that's why this scene was so unique and intense!
