in my opinion its nice to see ren and stimpy like this. the animation is still the same old gritty 90's look, t stll plays classical music in the soundtrack, the sound effects are still insane, and all the fart jokes are intact. plus, its a nice feeling to finally see the show the way the creator wanted it to be shown in the 1st place. agreed, the humour is too heavily laid on but come on, its fresh start from 9 years ago. i enjoyed seeing this after growing up with it as a kid, and now adult.

For all you people freaking out about the gay stuff FYI the creator of R&S originally meant for them to be an abusive borderline gay homeless couple/roomies/best friends. The only reason they weren't more blatant as they are in this episode is because of Nickolodeon and how they'd never allow the real stuff he wanted to be aired on kids television. If you watch the old episodes there are slight innuendos throughout all seasons that indicate their real origins.

Also, I do not agree that Family Guy and South Park are as raunchy at all. South Park and Family Guy are usually jokes about farts, poop, and popular media. He can still give Bob Camp permission, but since it's sold to Viacom, Viacom are the main guys for Bob Camp to receive permission. Not that John K. and Bob Camp communicate with each other anyway.

Bob Camp has received the rights for RnS after John got fired. From that time to 1996.
