There are many other videos on youtube of ISS and other satellites moving across the sky, and they look exactly like the phenomena that you recorded. I've seen thousands of them and that's what they look like.
Are the rest of the bright objects in this video stars, besides what is being focused on? I noticed some of them seem to be leaving like a trail that you would might see from a comet. It seems that the trail that is coming from the other bright objects change direction, meaning that these objects might be moving somewhat also, just can't really see it from the video. It seems to change when the object that is focused on moves pass them. Or could just be the camera moving that causes this effect.
@SinistralEbb there is the possibility that this could be the space station as people are mentioning, but highly doubtful and the people saying its a satellite. Satellites in the night sky in australia are just dimmer than the stars. You can just catch them with the naked eye on good clear nights away from major cities. But as i said they are faint and this is clearly quite larger and round, what shape is the space station? It clearly changes direction also between 0:35 and 1:45 ;)

The radio had a live program where they interwiewed members of the shuttle crew. Then they anounced that the spaceshuttle passed our area, and we pulled over, looked to the dark sky and that's what we saw crossing the sky. So while we could hear the austronauts in the radio, we could se them sailing through the space. That was pretty cool. :)

This is not a satellite or ISS. For one it's a little too slow to be ISS and you can get an idea of the distance by it's size. Satellites are a tiny dot in the sky. With night vision they are a little bigger but not that big.

to me it looks like ISS...., first time i saw ISS i saw a ufo...., then got home checked the time of fly-over on the internet and it was not a disappointment, second time it was still great. the regular pace, the size, the time it takes to "fly" towards the horizon. and i very well realize i could be wrong, i feel a bit 50/50, but please compare with ISS :)

Yes I have also seen several of these. They are easy to distinguish from satellites because they neither move in straight orbits, nor at consistent speeds. I've watched them literally cross the night sky, take several sharp turns, speed up, slow way down, then zip away faster than anything I have ever seen. Big secret? Well they are not hard to find if you take the time to look.

Alot of people say ufo's are the space station.I think I have seen the space station many times but it appeared to be moving very slowly,Does anyone know how fast it does seem to move as viewed from earth? I know how fast sattelites are, does it go at the same speed?I saw 2 objects that I thought were sattelites flying beside each other but they did a 90 degree turn and faded from view I can't come up with an explanation for that.
I like how peaceful this footage is. The object is indeed spherical in shape. I have also witnessed satellites and it isn't a satellite. This coming century is going to bring some changes to our world and our way of thinking. It may be no coincident that there are roughly 7 billion souls here now.
I agree this is the ISS which could be seen in Australia passing over several times from 26th to the 28th of October 2010. Still nice footage of the ISS :D

If what you say about it not being a satelite because of it's speed is true, then I've seen a lot of UFO's. I've been a satelite watcher my whole life and seen a lot of things I wouldn't dream of putting a theory to. But I'm not entirely happy thinking that what I've taken to be satelites was something else all along. I'm not deliberately trying to poo-poo your words but I just think you should check that.
Ok i am still getting inundated with messages over this footage with all kinds of theories, to set the record straight this object was traveling SOUTH TO NORTH NOT EAST TO WEST unlike most people are saying so i hope this helps with all the debunkers and naysayers who seem to make up their own stories without even asking questions,it's not a bird either.And when the battery ran out on the camcorder i took the night visison off it and looked through it and the object was gone/never saw it again.
I saw this like same object about three years ago at Christmas from Canoga Park in California it was moving fairly quickly back and forth in straight lines from high lunar orbit outward into space and the back closer to the moon but never landing it went on for well over and hour.Just a bright white light near lunar distance it seemed to move as though it was being controlled but what its purpose was I could not understand. Other people watched it with me for a bit.

these are exactly like the ones ive seen in adelaide very quiet smooth moving ive seen them change to red and differ there brightness were not satellites were way too low have seen them disappear aswell
@UFOVaultHD Correction.....There are satellites that take many minutes to traverse the sky, Not all satellites cross the sky in 40 seconds. This is a satellite people. I've filmed too many of them myself to know one when I see one.

I've had similar sightings, where I have immediately gone & looked up ISS flyover times for Melbourne & found that was it. You won't believe how bright it can get . Unless it moves at unusual angles or speeds then I wouldn't take any notice.
We can't see in the video if the object "passed through the Moon". If it indeed does, it's the ISS for sure. When the ISS passes right above some area, it looks like a very bright star moving very fast.
Yep! This cannot be the ISS or a satellite. This is a real UFO controled by aliens with green skin an two antennas on their head and a trumpet look like nose. The object filmed could ALSO be a true UFO. I was watching live and also recording on NASA TV from my Direct TV during the August 6, 2005 broadcast of the STS 114 mission and saw and recorded an object very simular to the object that was in the video in question. But in the NASA video the object reversed direction. I sent a report on 8/23/05 to the National UFO reporting center along with stills from the video and video clips. I am convinced this was also a true UFO but there are sceptics.
In response to the comment made by escalatingproof about my comment: I was making an observation on the video which was well photographed. The transit speed of the bright object and steady direction resembles an ISS flyby which I have observed and photographed myself on numerous occasions. It's also easy to verify if in fact the ISS was flying over the location. There are also other Irridium satellites that are sometimes very bright to the naked eye. Yes even from 250 miles up.

Hmmm, looks remarkably like the International Space Station, which I believe was passing over that neck of the woods at an altitude of about 350km about then. Nice bit of filming though.

It is huge and displays as a large white light travelling across the sky and, if it happens to pass overhead, it takes about 4 minutes from horizon to horizon. If YOU need a telescope to see it, perhaps you should visit an optician. And it was over that part of Australia when this was filmed. Keep an open mind, but not so open that your brains fall out! ;-))

As cool as this video is, unfortunately it is both a jump to claim it's a UFO or that it's "landing on the moon". It could be a satellite, it could be the ISS. What you should have done was continue to film for a little while longer after it passes or "lands" on the moon to show that it just wasn't flying by it. I find it a bit dubious that the video ends at that point.

Sorry but it maintains the same speed and no change in direction. My opinion is it is a satellite and as far as the comment that you can see it with the naked eye, I assure you that you can. Alot of people say ufo's are the space station.I think I have seen the space station many times but it appeared to be moving very slowly,Does anyone know how fast it does seem to move as viewed from earth? I know how fast sattelites are, does it go at the same speed?I saw 2 objects that I thought were sattelites flying beside each other but they did a 90 degree turn and faded from view I can't come up with an explanation for that.

I like how peaceful this footage is. The object is indeed spherical in shape. I have also witnessed satellites and it isn't a satellite. This coming century is going to bring some changes to our world and our way of thinking. It may be no coincident that there are roughly 7 billion souls here now.

If what you say about it not being a satelite because of it's speed is true, then I've seen a lot of UFO's. I've been a satelite watcher my whole life and seen a lot of things I wouldn't dream of putting a theory to. But I'm not entirely happy thinking that what I've taken to be satelites was something else all along. I'm not deliberately trying to poo-poo your words but I just think you should check that.

Ok i am still getting inundated with messages over this footage with all kinds of theories, to set the record straight this object was traveling SOUTH TO NORTH NOT EAST TO WEST unlike most people are saying so i hope this helps with all the debunkers and naysayers who seem to make up their own stories without even asking questions,it's not a bird either.And when the battery ran out on the camcorder i took the night visison off it and looked through it and the object was gone/never saw it again.

I saw this like same object about three years ago at Christmas from Canoga Park in California it was moving fairly quickly back and forth in straight lines from high lunar orbit outward into space and the back closer to the moon but never landing it went on for well over and hour.Just a bright white light near lunar distance it seemed to move as though it was being controlled but what its purpose was I could not understand. Other people watched it with me for a bit.

@UFOVaultHD Correction.....There are satellites that take many minutes to traverse the sky, Not all satellites cross the sky in 40 seconds. This is a satellite people. I've filmed too many of them myself to know one when I see one.

I've had similar sightings, where I have immediately gone & looked up ISS flyover times for Melbourne & found that was it. You won't believe how bright it can get . Unless it moves at unusual angles or speeds then I wouldn't take any notice.

We can't see in the video if the object "passed through the Moon". If it indeed does, it's the ISS for sure. When the ISS passes right above some area, it looks like a very bright star moving very fast.

Yep! This cannot be the ISS or a satellite. This is a real UFO controled by aliens with green skin an two antennas on their head and a trumpet look like nose. Perhaps they fall asleep an fly a boring straight ahead course over 1000 miles. I hope they turned off their antigravity generator to stay safely in orbit and not to smash into the moon. The object filmed could ALSO be a true UFO. I was watching live and also recording on NASA TV from my Direct TV during the August 6, 2005 broadcast of the STS 114 mission and saw and recorded an object very simular to the object that was in the video in question. But in the NASA video the object reversed direction. I sent a report on 8/23/05 to the National UFO reporting center along with stills from the video and video clips. I am convinced this was also a true UFO but there are sceptics.

In response to the comment made by escalatingproof about my comment: I was making an observation on the video which was well photographed. The transit speed of the bright object and steady direction resembles an ISS flyby which I have observed and photographed myself on numerous occasions. It's also easy to verify if in fact the ISS was flying over the location. There are also other Irridium satellites that are sometimes very bright to the naked eye. Yes even from 250 miles up.

It is huge and displays as a large white light travelling across the sky and, if it happens to pass overhead, it takes about 4 minutes from horizon to horizon. If YOU need a telescope to see it, perhaps you should visit an optician. And it was over that part of Australia when this was filmed. Keep an open mind, but not so open that your brains fall out! ;-))

As cool as this video is, unfortunately it is both a jump to claim it's a UFO or that it's "landing on the moon". It could be a satellite, it could be the ISS. What you should have done was continue to film for a little while longer after it passes or "lands" on the moon to show that it just wasn't flying by it. I find it a bit dubious that the video ends at that point.

Sorry but it maintains the same speed and no change in direction. My opinion is it is a satellite and as far as the comment that you can see it with the naked eye, I assure you that you can. I am a sky watcher and have seen this on several occasions. Don't be discouraged though, I believe everyone should be aware and film as often as possible. Good vid and thank you.
