You mentioned one of your video that a Jerry Donahue stratocaster is actually two guitars in one. Is it like a stratocaster with same wood with tele? Or is it the pickups? I'd like to know....

It's like an ordinary stratocaster, but has a special pickup in the bridge position.

That pickup is like a telecaster pickup, with a metal plate under the pickup. The pickguard is also routed underneath (in the plastic) and another metal plate is to be found.

This makes the strat sounding like a telecaster. But to have that feature you have to turn the middle pot a notch (it's actually a A/B-switch) which enables you to have bridge + neck and a couple of out of phase sounds and so on...

Ok. So that's the thing. I thought it would be something else. Anyway. You kinda get the best of both worlds with that. Nice playing!

Yeah, but I haven't got those pickups on the guitar anymore... I switched pup's with the white strat you can see in one of my videos.

I'm not gonna get rid of the JD-pickups, but I might get another set of EMG-SA's cause I really like the sound they give PLUS there is no hum from them... I hate when it hums...
