@duskaxe Yukari isn't entirely trustworthy though, it's highly possible she's making Shikieiki seem ungodly powerful for some unknown reason that aids her. She is the Mastermind of Touhou, after all. To be honest I also believe Shikieiki is extremely powerful(She has to be, in order to deal with some of the more unruly spirits which put up a fight instead of going to the place Shikeiki tells them to(Hell, heaven, or whatever)

Based on what I know and thanks to Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, I estimate the strongest beings in Gensokyo to be Reimu, Suika, and/or Tenshi. Reimu's got incredible power, and has beaten every person in Gensokyo at least once. Suika is an oni with immeasureable power. And Tenshi has actually proven to be the only one capable of beating Reimu. This is all I know, so feel free to argue my points.

According to the books made about the Lunarian society, it was founded before the advent of humanity. Up until recently Touhou wiki actually had that information and speculated at around 200,000 years old. It probably is not this high but whatever the number is, it will easily be the highest age.
Also, I can see Eirin being in the top 5 or so in strength, but I'm not sure if she is the strongest. Then again, if she is indeed as old as you say, she would have had enough time to get stronger and thus would justify such a thought.

You could in theory totally destroy her if you destroyed her body underneath the tree, but getting there would actually be the problem if they decided to seal themselves. Yukari would have the best chance to kill her. Good thing she would never do that since she cares for Yuyuko so much.
I would think her power would work on non-immortal youkai as well, actually. Probably wouldn't work on ghosts since they're already dead either, but otherwise, everyone except Shikieiki, Kaguya, Mokou, and...Komachi?, The Prismriver sisters(anyone I'm forgetting?) should be fair targets. Thankfully, Yuyuko decides to be responsible with her powers and decided never to use it in a fight, or when angry, or otherwise never use it irresponsibly. But that's why I love her~
To beat Eirin, you just need to have Kaguya around. She hasn't shown that she will fight at full power for any reason when Kaguya is around, Stage 6 of IH being a prime example. If Kaguya is out of the picture or something happens where Eirin turns against the Eientei group, you have a whole different story.
Also remember that Eirin has treated quite a few Gensokyo residents, who's to say she hasn't put something in their medicine that can be used against them later on?
Keep in mind that they are Youkai rabbits, 1000 years for them is... well... it varies on the youkai, but I guess it would be like turning 10 years old for Tewi... maybe 18 based on the adult non-canon stuff I seen of her...
I don't think it would be like 10, because that'd make Reisen less than a year old compared to her or so....(assuming her age is somewhere around 38 years old). It's more like Tewi is just really short for no reason.
Age is 'relative' thing when you consider the fact that a lot of the critters in touhou games are, Spirits, Ghosts, Demons, Gods or other mythological creatures.
Even the 'youngest' characters tend to be around 100years old, some of the oldest ones are the manifestation of a thought, ideal or concept, For example, one of the characters basically a god that controls 'boundaries' and is practically ageless and has some pretty "WTF HAXX!!!!" powers.

Curious, where did you get such info? I have never heard such things, and Touhouwiki lists Eirin's age as around 1400, 1200 for Kaguya.
