in the beta you could because a beta is testing the game for the bugs you may find, the scopes have been changed based on beta feedback, there is a demo out, but it is very limited.

They look terrible because they reduced quality for the beta and the demo so that it would run more quickly and be downloaded more quickly. If you find a video on the official website, the gun quality is much the same as Modern Warfare 2.

The graphics look sterile and boring, the weapons are too easy to shoot.

This game is still very, very good, but I will stick to BF2 and MW2. MW2 is worse in terms of climate and coolness, but is generally better as a tech game.

Heh, yeah, in Battlefield Bad Company 1 happens when disappears weapon in ur hands, turns to a invisible, but, it happens when either cause too much action going on on the screen or large ammount players, and it starts laggin (network lag)

I have played Battlefield 2 since release on PC and later I buyed BC for Xbox 360 and I have to say, the game contains much more action. But its cool you can play as rambo (rush in) or more the stealthy way (sniper). I like it.
