@Cidantis to a modern main battle tank the GL wouldn't do a lot. To an older one, if you got lucky, you might disable it. Older APCs, yeah, a HEAT round could disable one and/or kill people inside.

@warzone1988 I dont know how the m203 system works on an M4, but there ARE sights when its mounted on an m16. You DO use the sights to aim the weapon. You would end up wasting rounds and would somehow have to walk the rounds onto the target like a mortar if you didnt aim the weapon. I never carried the m203 but have fired one MANY times in training using live 40mm rounds and training "paint" rounds. By the way, being a former Marine, Im not familiar with "terp" or "IA". What does that mean?

@Cidantis most likely an abandoned destroyed tank. remnants of either the beginning of the war or desert storm. 40mm wont do much to a tank people inside would definitly live. only damage would be sensitive equipment like radio, optic or if lucky damage a road wheel

@Cidantis to a modern main battle tank the GL wouldn't do a lot. To an older one, if you got lucky, you might disable it. Older APCs, yeah, a HEAT round could disable one and/or kill people inside.

ok just to clear a few things up there is no sights/ guidance systems on this 203 it was just free hand. He is a terp and not IA and it was his first shot ever so yeah luck. That was my rifle and i took the video. @warzone1988 I dont know how the m203 system works on an M4, but there ARE sights when its mounted on an m16. You DO use the sights to aim the weapon. You would end up wasting rounds and would somehow have to walk the rounds onto the target like a mortar if you didnt aim the weapon. I never carried the m203 but have fired one MANY times in training using live 40mm rounds and training "paint" rounds. By the way, being a former Marine, Im not familiar with "terp" or "IA". What does that mean?
