@EnvelTheTrader Catwoman in returns technically was only catwoman by name. Catwoman's meant to be a catburgler, as far as I'm aware, she's never committed murder and never died. Burton went nuts in that one, which is why they kicked him off the directors chair for Forever, even though schumacher sucked.

Also, we haven't seen Anne Hathaway as catwoman yet, we don't know what she's going to be like. Everyone went all pissy about Ledger as the joker before TDK came out. Give her a chance.

Michelle was alright in returns, but I never thought of her as Catwoman, just sort of a cheap knock-off. Anne seems to look the part, again, in terms of the comics now.

I think Heath did a fantastic job as the joker in TDK, when i saw this trailer, just his one line blew me away.

@EnvelTheTrader the look wasn't dumb, it was a realistic depiction of a farely unrealistic character. There's no way chemicals would bleach your skin white and leave you with a fixed grin. The look was one of the things everyone raved about. Bale doesn't ruin it apparently, the stupid voice is post production, so we can blame nolan for that. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were pinnacle films in the return of the superhero blockbuster, bringing it from colourful nonsense to epic action.
