I love this song! I hated this scene when we did it though cause I was a night and we had to be in a freeze frame while they sang this

this cast and the recording from the movie really convey the emotion of the pieces. they are not vocalizing for perfect tone and projection, they are singing with an emanation of inner beauty--it is much more human and will always be my choice and benchmark for camelot. Gene Marcinco as Lance is it not?

Actually its Franco Nero as Lancelot. I'm not sure if he was dubbed or not. And i agree this is my favorite version :)

This is by far the saddest sounding version of this sad song. I think it's the way it ought to be sung. Julie Andrews voice is pretty but it doesnt seem to capture the heartbreak that Redgrave and Nero give to it. I love this and it always makse me cry
