I really like the design and plan on building it this week. I do have twp questions, where did you find the PVC sleeve? I have looked all over and can't seem to find one. Secondly, it looks like you spay painted your galvanized pipes and flanges, did you have have problems with the paint sticking to the metal? Some galvanized metal has an oil on it. Thanks in advance.
i got the sleeve at Lowe's and i did paint the pipes, i wiped them down with thinner and gave them a light sanding to rough up the surface. the paint stayed on pretty good. i did a minor change to the design that i will post pretty soon. thanks
I was going to build that trellis... and still might... but I had a fortunate accident during a spring storm that provided me with an almost ready made trellis. The video is on my channel if you care to check it out. btw I REALLY like the modification you made with the pulley system.
Looking good! I thought about building the trellis out of BYO, but I got lazy and just ran a horizontal twine from the top of a 4x4 to a tree on the other side of the yard. The vertical lines run down from that one. I may copy your design next year for just my Cascades which are going hog-wild. I will be looking for more of your videos to maybe get some ideas for any modifications. Thanks for the video.

Impressive. I'm sure you've seen my vids, I just use my gutters and string them up that way, but this looks nice.
You wait another 2 years and you'll have bines coming out all over the place. Really have to keep up with those.
