Libertarianism is not a form of government, it is a philosophy. My point is that the philosophy conflates social and economic issues. If you want to dump toxic chemicals into my local drinking water, I don't want to wait 20 years for the market to "correct" it. I want them stopped before they can harm you or me.

@clwncanestageleft Not true. Libertarians believe in decentralization of political power, which naturally leads to competition between administrations and more efficiency. They don´t necessarily oppose local regulations. Today the best example is Switzerland, the only country where the federal government has nothing to do with 2/3 of spending.
