Look, I don't want to sound rude here, but I have to be honest: anyone that says Shakira can't dance is clueless. Dance is all about control and muscle/body manipulation. Belly dancing is extremely hard to do because of the precision of the movements. If you don't know what you're doing, it just looks sloppy. So I say: why don't you stand in front of that many people (or just a mirror for that matter) and TRY to do what she does. Just try.

When it comes to belly dancing no one can compete against PURE ARABIAN GIRLS.Even the simplest form of belly dancing can be nailed easily by a 9 year old arab..We grew up with arabic music and belly dancing and we understand the rhythms, percussion, drums and everything related to our music..When Arabic girls dance,they dance with the Music,or more like the Music moves them.and they show NO EFFORT.Shakira dances a bit good cuz she's been dancin' ever since she was young plus she is half lebanese
