  • 01:20 OMG JESUS CHRIST!!!

  • Krakatoa was not the largest eruption in modern history. In 1815, the erupion of Tambora was 4 times as powerful, and the largest eruption of the 18th century is Mont Pelee, 1903.

  • Well done! Great animation. Is the model meant to be accurate though? From the pictures I've seen of Krakatoa there were only 3 craters (not 4)of which only 2 were active at the time of the explosion, and was the southern part of the island (Now the only remaining part, Rakata) as steep as that giving the classic volcano look? Nice job.

  • @smf333

Thanks. It was an art class project to learn clay animation. Yes, I guess at the time when we did it, it was supposed to be accurate, we took information from wikipedia. But I don't remember the exact details now, you might be right, there might be some mistake :)

  • looks like step motion

  • Well. That sucked.

  • lol

  • Wow, epic fail.

  • haha funny! I dont get it...

  • Thumbs up if you were looking for an actual computer animation with krakatoa rendering. This is misleading...

  • @PhantomGamer100 The title clearly reads "Clay Animation", I don't know how is this misleading for you? Either my English is bad or you are incredibly stupid!

  • @maksins No your english is bad.

  • @PhantomGamer100

You've removed all doubts about your stupidity now!

  • yeah i mean you dont need to know about other planets leave them alone they are not important for us just enjoy our planet because time is going down soon

  • The model looks strikingly familier to what the discovery channel website showed although it wasnt a peak. New craters formed as a result of beggining eruptions in mid-june.

  • It had the force of 1000 nukes

I saw it on Discovery World today (Raging Planet)

  • @GodericG In reality the energy released throughout the eruption was equal to 13,000 times that of the Hiroshima A-bomb or 4 times the Tsar bomb. The main explosion itself was like 10 atomic bombs going of each second. Perhaps even more.

  • @MrVolcanoes22 amazing isn't it

  • @GodericG But of course. Even though I wouldnt describe it as amazing if I was there. More like hellish if i was on any beach around the Sunda Strait.

  • @MrVolcanoes22 Yes ofcourse, but i'm amazed by our own planet...

  • That was fabulous. Very well done!

  • Rakkata Not Blowing? (the big Mountain not erupts?

  • @zadhytia

No, the big one doesn't erupts..as per our research on history of Krakatoa Explosion.

  • @maksins Rakata is erupt not a 4 mount actually 3

  • @zadhytia As maksins said Rakata didnt erupt. According to diaries taken by Rogier Verbeek. Look at his report. Ther was activity on the southern slope of Danan but no activity on Rakata.

  • peradaban lenyap karnanya......

  • omg, could i use ur video as a secondary source for my earth/space science seminar??

  • @1piecemage

Yes as long you cite the reference. In research we do this all the time :)

  • Guys, it was just an honest effort and first try on clay animation..we tried to do out best..not everything in this world has to be perfect but we do take your criticisms in positive way and will try to improve if we again do it future!

  • it still is the loudest sound, so loud that it was heard 3000 miles away

  • hell epic music lol

  • Pssshhhthtt ! go mole lmao you fully just like told him lmfao manaia found your comment in science.

  • get a new you tube clip it SUCKED!!!!!!

  • @mrsexyrebell123 how about you try and make this. we'll see how well you do then, eh?

    n_n

  • That's actually pretty sweet..... I like how you used actual flames instead of that red lava clay shit... :D

  • Generated the loudest sound historically reported. That is until the Kiss Concert was invented.

  • download link ?

  • BMxpro1995 It"s Hiroshima not Heroshima..

  • @rubeneza it's "it's" not "it"s"

  • The explosion was 67 000 times stronger then the nuclear bomb that devestated Heroshima.

  • NICE!!! though the animation made it look like someone simply lit a cardboard mountain on fire, it's genious...

  • krakatau is the big one

it blew itself up and anak krakatau is the child formed on 1927 eruption

  • nice animation

  • This is amazing, thank you for posting this.

  • thanks

  • Sky turned blood red for 2-3 years after the eruption ..

    Is it the whole world?

  • yep it did

  • amazing

  • Everyone forgot Tambora...

  • Cmon, Krakatoa only had 3 mountains not 4, and Anak Krakatao only has one, :l put a little more reserch into it before you make it plz :D

  • i'm with idiotdoll. this video sucked. if your gonna show something bout it, make it look REAL.

  • supervision? its only clay! exploshun tooooooo big for yah...

  • why the largwe volcano not erupt?

  • The shockwave was so powerful it circled the earth 7 times taking an hour to feel it each time. That means no matter where you were on the earth. every hour for 7 hours you suddendly felt a tremor. Now that's powerful!

  • wow. that is crazy.

  • ant the tsunami was measured in london(but only 2cm high)

  • simply awesome.
