I'll look into that, into the IRS and Tax filing laws. If I find I dont have to file, and pay taxes, I'll get back to you. But I do believe that law or no law, if you don't pay into the system, then don't ask the system for help. So if noone pays taxes then noone is entitled to social security, or welfare. So if people don't get their welfare check from the government, it's your fault because you don't pay taxes. Sounds like a "look out for #1 only" point of view.

Look, the IRS doesn't win these things illegally. There is a reason this guy's been charged. The difference is, the taxpayer, by supplying the IRS with their SSN or TIN on a 1040, legally binds that person to be held liable for not paying their taxes for that taxable year. All your employer can do is file an affidavit if you don't supply SSN.
