You just have to ask yourself: Who are these guys and where did they come from? I just don't understand their background influence - they are completely unique.
Too many christian hypocrites judge this band. Remember the bible talking about casting the first stone. Those guys are usually the guys in the church cheating on their wives and whacking off to porn. So my advice to all the christian hypocrites out there shut your face, stop judging people, and pray for everyone. These guys are talented and should be commended for their ability to play music very well.
Question: Are you addressing all Christians as hypocrites, or just the hypocritical Christians. Its hard to tell by your sentence lol ;) :D (Me=MuteMath fan)

HELLO EVERYBODY the hope of one is my hope of hope itself =) maybe you'd like to help a little fighter I’m trying to be a singer like million else But I am different I promise that... if u give me a chance i'll show u I am 17 years old and dream to have listeners of all ages love the thing I do.. please stop by my channel and check out my cover anyone who reads this could just press the "THUMBS UP" other people will see it. Thanks For Helping Make My Dreams Come True !!! :)))))) Lots of love XD
@thelatterdaycomrades mainstream in what country? lol this isn't usa mainstream...for one, it doesnt particularly fit one genre that exists unless u pick a very broad or rare one, and to be able to replicate their songs live is ridiculously beyond what most bands can manage
Heys guys if you like this you should also check out Tangent Transmission! I found out about them not too long ago and they're great. They remind me of MuteMath a bit!!
@gajopv1 He's so insane when he plays that he has to wrap his head in duct tape to keep the headphones from flying off (seriously). It's pretty awesome.
These guys definitely bring something different (and better) to the table than all of those disingenuous label-made acts. They always nail their live shows too. ...The music world needs more Mutemaths.
was just watching a bunch of blink 182s live vids. i love that band, but their live show is nowhere near as impressive. and yet mutemath has barely scratched the surface of blink's success. real shame.
@Musicman829 being mainstream wouldn't change them at all. If they were mainstream and put out the same type of music that they are now why would you hate them?
@HighFivesForGod most bands that get mainstream change their music because of their record label... but if they get mainstream and dont change, id still be in love with MUTEMATH
@HighFivesForGod its not a shame dude, as long as we support them they will keep making good music without the pressure of being a mainstream band(having to make easy-to-listen music in order to sell more), that way, the people who doesn't really care about music can keep listening to what is on the radio without coming here to bash what they don't understand
@CT2790 not all, but the majority yes. money sales doesn't mean you are a good band. Popularity doesn't mean you are a good band. Having music such as this makes you a good band. Its sad that there ar bands that are mainstream that are horrible get more respect then this band.

only thing that makes me mad about this song is the bass player tryin to play drums. please there is no need for that. the drummer is already great enough. just sit down man sit down
@myfriendjoey Well the bassist is also a drummer. Have you seen any of the reset videos? He sometimes switches out with the drummer in those too. He's not bad, give him a chance!

I'm thankful MUTEMATH has exposure...this is a band that is composed of musicians who know their stuff and function well as a band. These guys are talented and it shows. Hopefully the public will hear more from bands like this that play good, solid music.

It's been said before, but it's worth repeating: the bassline is SICK! The album version of this song is great, but the live performance is unbelievable!
This base player is .... ummm well .... kind of SICK!!!! Very Funky. Sounds like the base players from the 70s, or even Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers .. Good music.
Up until 22 seconds, that bit is crazy cool! Melodic and awesome...I would buy a song of just that with MM jamming out to it. Armistice is awesome as a song, but I want that beginning in a standalone track.
So much style, so much originality, so much MuteMath! I love MuteMath! Roy's a freakin' beast, Darren King is king of the drums, Greg's keeps the guitar simple yet full of flavor, and Paul Meany should be nicknamed "Paul Meaningful."
lol.... wow. I like 'em too but sheesh! King of the drums? Meaningful? I agree they are absolutely amazing musicians but if there was a prize for kitchiness, you would definitely win.
he always puts duct tape on top of the snare head. i dont like how the snare sounds in this video or even that much in the actual record but when i saw them live it was so loud and fat!

Probably because that end of the stick is easier to roll being that its heavier.
Also it gives the snare a deeper tone (if its the head is tight enough).
