  • Wern't all Z-class oil-fired unlike the UP challangers, and are their any surviving today? I know SP 4449's current whistle is from a GN Z-class challanger.

  • The whistle sounds like a door bell.

  • It's smoke, not steam.

  • It's demonstrated on the CNJ Camelback video.

  • Yes, all operations including sounds are controlled via the DCS remote control system.

  • do you have the new quillable whistle??? if so could you please post a demo showing how it works

  • do you remotely control the whistle or something?

  • That is an awesome train...i love the sound of the whistle on that

  • Hey Toytrains1, do you own a hobby shop or something because you seem to have every single mth train that i type in on youtube.

  • What's with that stuff on the front of the train?

  • Those are various air pumps and compressors. Some railroads hid them in various places while some railroads mounted them up front.

  • wow that GN 4-6-6-4 is so cool

  • i agree with 92hatchattack. the overhang dosent look as bad

  • it doesnt look that bad on this engine(overhang)!! i thought this was a great engine!!!!!

  • Is this HO scale? LOVE THE TRAINS!!!

  • not HO. its O

  • what radius track is this running on??? The overhang doesnt look as bad on this model as it does on some of the other mth challengers.

  • It's running on my outer loop which is O-72 (36" radius), the minimum that this locomotive requires.

  • awsome

  • NICE LOCO!

  • Is it me or did MTH include wheel-slip in the sound?

    What a great model! :)

  • That's one nice engine!
