lol it didnt work for my hair either but i made it work lol got out my hand mixer and mixed it with my shea butter mixture (which has some oils in it) and made it really creamy and now it works before i came up with that that leave in didnt work i thought was me alone lol
Glad to see u back on da yt! The KT leave in didn't do much for my hair either. I'm glad to see that one other person had the same result, because the way everyone speaks of the leave in makes me feel like maybe my hair is an anomaly. As regarding your shedding, vanie0295 seemed to have really good results resolving her shedding issue with black tea. Check out her vids if u're interested and best wishes on this. Thanx for sharing.
Being in braids your hair won't shed daily so when you do take the braids down it will seem like you are loosing alot of hair. Its just that since your hair is tied up in the braids the normal 50-100 strands of shed hair are being held in the braids untill you take them down and wash your hair out.
I found the same thing with my hair and the leave in. If you watched KT video you'll notice that she wets her hair and reapplies the leave in every 3 days. Since I have super thick hair I tend to use more butter concoctions to keep my hair moisturized between washes and spritz daily with some kind of leave in. Oh about your hair shedding, I have really think/dense hair so I think I shed more hair than most because I have more of it.
I noticed the same intense dryness with the kimmaytube regimen in the following days after I tried it as well! It just didn't retain the moisture for me.
I make the KT leave in with aloe vera gel and change up the oils depending on my mood. I think the gel is better for people with hair that is dryer and I also think you can put in more than you do to get better results. I am generous with it and don't have any bad effects from that.
Just a note vitamin e oil is not technically a preservative. It is an antioxidant with preserving qualities however it is not a broad spectrum preservative.
@Cookiec1973 those knots can rob you of hair that isnt meant to be shed. Good hair that's doing just find gets wrapped around a knot and gets yanked out. So bad, i would say.
Maybe you have porosity issues. I noticed my hair wouldn't hold moisture before so I used Roux porosity control after I shampooed, and then I would do a final rinse with ACV. It really worked for me. When your hair is very porous, it is hard for it to hold moisture. Just a thought.
I have braids in now, when i remove them I will do a video and show you. My braids have been in for two weeks, I usually leave them in for a month with very minimal hair shedding. I have an older vid up w pics. For now I have my recent Feb braids vids. OK take care:0)

@NubieD hmmm. i'll check her vids again. Thanks for the info. are your butters conditioning the hair or just locking in moisture?

Try it without the Aloe Vera Juice...when I added the aloe vera, it made my hair feel dry also BUT without the Aloe vera, it's awesome!
