  • A larger MAF sensor allows you to run more boost. The stock GA16DE MAF sensor maxes out at around 7lbs of boost, while a N60 MAF sensor can handle close to 30lbs (or so claimed).

  • id like to see you do some drivebyes and also what does removing the exauht to intake thing do better milage more power?????

  • I do need some footage of some drive-byes; one of these days it'll happen. Removing the EGR valve eliminates carbon build-up and other nice exhaust gases in your intake. It also frees up more horsepower, but does hurt fuel economy.

  • for real man keep up the great vids i look forward to learnin about my b13 i mean i kno more then the average joe but ur vids are great

  • Removing EGR is not a good idea. Its designed to cool your combustion temperatures, because the exhaust gasses are inert and wont burn, and absorb heat from the combustion process.

removing EGR, could raise those temps substaintially and end up giving you detonation and more problems... Be careful, just trying to save you some work...and an engien

  • question man, did you pull this MAF sensor from a DE maxima?

the N60 MAF IS the VG30E maf sensor. i believe the VG30DE sensor is the E60. making the E60 the OBDII, and the N60 OBDI.

  • It is the MAF sensor off the VE30DE Maxima V6, not the VG30DE. It is still OBDI as far as I know. I know for a fact it is an N60... even says so on the side ;).

  • Ah, so for an OBDI GA, it'd probably be a much more PnP application.

  • Hey man new subscriber here I love what you're doing maybe someday I will make a vid for you to post of my B13! Great channel don't stop!

  • you know right after i asked you i figured I would give it a shot and found that I have a mount running from the intake manifold to the air compressor right in the way where that "T" would go

  • Oh yeah, I forgot about that support bar. You can remove it; it just helps to support the intake manifold in place but it is fine if it is gone.
