"Chevron has changed my country"... actually, Chevron has changed the world, for the worst. Google the phrase "Chevron Fined". Thanks for screwing up the only planet we have Chevron while suppressing non-oil energy advancement. If there were an evil overlord, he would be proud of you.
Only people who need to be creating jobs and rebuilding the economy in Angola are Angolans. Chevron will only rebuild the economy in their favor. Every bit of help we accept from outsiders comes at a price. In fact, we need to push people like Chevron and other oil tycoons out of Africa period. {{-_-}}
So why are Chevron still refusing to pay for cleanups of massive oil spills they caused 20 years ago, even though they have been found guilty by the courts?
Chevron are corrupt. Do not be fooled by their miss-information campaigns.
Actually...the guys in the commercial is right. Major investments like this IS good business! These "evil, greedy corporations" take charge to bring progress to less-developed nations because it ALSO brings profits to them--through expansion of businesses, which results in more workers, which in turn results in greater production rates...which DO satisfy shareholders' demands for growth.
In the meantime, those countries now have the chance for progress.
I hate this commercial. I can't understand a damn thing that they are saying. It sounds like that they not only have an exaggerated accent, but something wrong with their speach.
Thanks for sharing. It is good to have quality content like this.
