I have a semi-hollow, and let me say this that they are so much more powerful than solid bodies when it comes to power chords. This one is actually more versatile since there are no F holes, which allows for massive gain. So yes this thing will do any kind of music as long as you don't require a tremolo.

it would work better than with most semi hollowbodys cause theres no cutaway! so there wont be buzz problems or not as mcuch
